In response to Donald Trump’s re-election to the Oval Office, some academics canceled classes this week, citing the personal needs and stress of students.
Some researchers from at least three Ivy League schools canceled groups: Harvard, University of Pennsylvania and Columbia.

In a letter to students from Michigan State University on Wednesday, doctor Shlagha Borah stated,” I am canceling school today to grieve the presidential poll results. As a gay, immigrant person of color, I cannot, in good conscience, go on about my evening like everything is great”.
” This is a major historical event that we are witnessing. I hope you take some time to take good care of yourself.
The letter, which was posted by the X accounts End Wokeness, stated that the reading and language teacher, who was hired over the summer, may never treat students differently based on their political beliefs.

The College Fix contacted Chadwick and Ohio University’s press relations department on Thursday to ask reply.

Another wealthy college, Swarthmore College, even fielded canceled courses.
