During the fighting, Democrat Marie Gkusenkamp Perez, who won the agrarian 3rd region in Washington, described an awkward meeting with Kamala Harris. He claimed in an interview with the New York Times that Kamala Harris ‘ initial hope for the Democratic nomination were unrealized. I was able to talk to Harris when she first appeared. I know she called a lot of my coworkers, she always called me”, the Democrat said. ” I’ve had one conversation with Harris, at her Naval Observatory Christmas gathering”.
” That kind of thing is not very pleasant for me. After a few beers, I noticed that almost all bouquets were cheap. My neighborhood grows a devil of a lot of Christmas plants”, she said.
” I was strong-armed into taking a photograph. I said,’ Madam Vice President, we grow those where I live,'” Gluesenkamp Perez went on.
She abruptly left me. There was kind of an eye roll, sometimes. It really matters to the people who live where I live, I thought. It’s the value, the social respect for producers. She did n’t seem to understand what I was trying to say, in my opinion.
Perez won more than Harris by various points, and she appears to be running for re-election, according to her statement to the New York Times. National Democrats did not address issues in her area, such as the high food prices and the fentanyl crisis.
She told the New York Times,” People are crediting their credit cards with their groceries.” If you try to convince them of their lived experiences using data from some economists, no one will listen to everything you say.
Instead of looking in the mirror and seeing what we can do, it’s much simpler to chastise and demonize others. It is not joy to experience responsibilities. It requires a psychological freedom that’s painful”, Perez said. ” But who knows”?
