35 Years Since the Berlin Wall Fell

35 years have passed since the Soviets ‘” Berlin Wall” fell, and a new period of freedom has begun. America and Europe are currently engaged in home conflict with foreign adversaries, but we can take comfort from the hardly anticipated victory on this day in 1989.

Germany and Berlin have been divided into East ( Soviet ) and West ( America and the Allies ) since World War II. The oppressed by the Communist Soviet government dreamed of liberty behind the Iron Curtain. The Berlin Wall divided free and democratic Germany from Communist-controlled Germany. More than 600 people died trying to cross the walls to liberate the West, killing or dying. &nbsp,

U. S. President Ronald Reagan, UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, Boris Yeltsin, and Pope John Paul II were among those who played key roles in bringing down the Soviet Union ( Reagan especially ). Many Westerners erupted at Reagan when he pleaded with Gorbachev to “ruin down this ceiling” while standing in front of the wall at Brandenburg Gate. But on November 9, 1989, the same year that Reagan left company, the Berlin Wall came crashing down.

After days of presentations and demonstrations, the West German government made the announcement that people would be able to freely mix East Berlin in November 1989. Citizens began to erect the Berlin Wall, a natural barrier that had long defined the division between East and West, as a result of this decision. The Berlin Wall’s slide was a pivotal moment in world affairs as well as a symbolic one.

In 1991, the Soviet Union government completely disintegrated and ended its Cold War.

Unfortunately, the world did not heed her notice, and the problems of Russia did unfold. But in 1989, a dying blow was struck at the Soviet Union. The first rumbling of the Russian empire’s collapse occurred when the roof slammed against it. In Fatima, the part of the Berlin Wall is a representation of the defeat of the common citizen over the Socialist, agnostic dictators, and of the defeat of Our Lady, of the defeat of Jesus Christ, of the defeat of the common citizen.

Reagan had predicted,” This walls will collapse. Because trust don’t support it. It may resist reality. The ceiling cannot resist freedom”. And 35 years ago today, he was proven straight. However, freedom fights not end in their entirety.

American Communists lost the 2024 election, their “blue wall” tumbling along, but they are not ready to admit full fight.
