According to ARY News, a Bangladeshi man was detained in Lahore after allegedly murdering his seven-year-old child and then trying to cover up the murder by staging a kidnapping.
The man first reported missing after quietly burying his son, according to a police official, but investigations eventually revealed his involvement in the crime.
The government eventually discovered the boy’s remains buried at their home in Baghnpura, leading to the family’s statement. The motivation behind this action has not yet been revealed.
This dreadful tragedy comes in the wake of a recent event in Sadiqabad, where a man allegedly threw acid at his partner during a domestic debate, leaving her with extreme burn, according to ARY News. The victim, Saira ( 35 ), suffered severe burns covering 80 per cent of her body.
She was moved to a specialized burn unit after receiving first care at a nearby hospital. She is now in critical condition. The victim and her parents accused several family members, including her father’s families and sister-in-law, of the abuse, claiming they used both ammonia and petrol before setting her arrive.
