In the days following Tuesday’s election, the poll gods continue to reveal more and more gold nuggets, some of which are no less than 24 kt.  ,
California is experiencing a silver jump.  ,

Eureka!
We know how much the other side had ballyhoo this move if the roles were reversed, but this map shows black dark spots in California where they’re just somewhat dark, per the punditry class. Ballyhoo all you want. And hear this, all is not lost in the Golden State. Some of this libertarian and bohemian awakening can be reversed. Changing hearts and minds is hard work, though, as Scott Presler , may show you.
In addition to winning more than 40 % of the vote in California, Trump has flipped more districts. San Bernardino, Orange, Riverside, Fresno, Merced, Stanislaus, San Juaquin, Inyo, Nevada and Butte were all orange in 2020 but have flipped to purple. No region has switched from red to blue. photograph. twitter.com/uE8rrtV7NU— Monika Palotai ( @monika_palotai ) November 7, 2024
ten regions in 2020 and 2024 have been changed by Donald Trump to purple.
Californians overwhelmingly voted for the president-elect since George W. Bush 20 years ago, which is the highest proportion of Californians ‘ votes. Nationwide, he also beat out W., earning 45 %  , of Hispanic and Latino votes.  ,
The California, Washington, and Oregon elections are n’t officially certified until early December.
During the 2016 campaign, I was in inside Mexico for a family function and an older Mexican girl told me,” I love Trump”! I always forgot that. She was n’t alone, either.  ,
Mexican voters may have just hired their first female president, lefty AMLO protegé, Claudia Sheinbaum, but Mexican voters are n’t necessarily woke.  ,
Authentic
In one of his podcast episodes, Victor Davis Hanson shares a story that might explain why businessman Trump pertains to a variety of audiences. Former California Central Valley Congressman Devin Nunes was accompanying Trump as he traveled through the state. This vacation involved going to farms, farms, and farms. According to Johnson, Trump donned a suit and tie to these remote image ops. Trump posed as his true self, unlike other individuals who tried to resemble the landowners and farmers they were meeting. People like sincerity. It conveys the impression that the candidate is n’t trying to deceive them.  ,

Disingenuousness by the Democrats, mainly Kamala, is why they were n’t trusted with the gain.
Democrats avoided discussing the market until it was subject to price fixing.  ,
Democrats did n’t talk about crime, except to lie and say it was down.  ,
Democrats did n’t talk about cultural issues, except to say your beliefs were wrong.  ,
Democrats did n’t talk about the open borders bringing in criminals, except to deny criminals were coming over open borders.
What’s that old saying? People wo n’t care how little you know until they are aware of your care.  ,
Trump demonstrates his concern for these problems and commitment to them.  ,
Here were more of the nuggets from the Gold]rush ] State.  ,
Santa Ana breezes
A determine that would help non-citizens to cast ballots in primaries was rejected by the City of Santa Ana by a 20-point ratio.
The socialists pushing this lunacy, such as the Southern California cell of the American Civil Liberties Union, thought they’d establish a foothold in this 45 % Latino area, thinking, also, of training, the Mexicans who are now National citizens would utterly go for this. Wrong-o.
More than 60 % of Santa Ana voters believed it was a bad idea to tamp down their votes with those of non-citizens ( good luck keeping track of that ).  ,
This anti-American estimate was funded by the real estate sector and house building developers. If the jaded backers of this measure had followed the law and the citizenship-granting company, they might not have used the cash.
Bye, George
The Menendez Brothers are the Los Angeles DA’s office’s biggest morons as Soros attorney George Gascon is being fired.

Breeding pessimism
San Francisco voters ousted the liberal computer’s London Breed and replaced her with a non-politician, a Levi Strauss nepo girl, Dan Lurie, who beat Breed and three other individuals in the state’s complicated ranked-choice election system.

Breed was replaced because of the abundance of homeless drug addicts and chaos tourists.
With the money we’ve spent spending in other countries over the past four years, we could have rehabilitated every homeless person in America.

Lurie , runs , an anti-poverty non-profit.  ,
Michael Bloomberg put$ 1 million into Breed’s losing campaign. I ca n’t imagine the gun-grabbing officer wanted her in. I kid, I kid. Lurie put$ 13 million of his own money into his campaign.
Portland mayor ,
Tell me if you’ve heard this one before: the new mayor runs a non-profit that confronts the issue of homelessness. Yes, that’s right, San Francisco’s mayor runs such a non-profit, and so does Portland’s latest surprise mayor.
If nothing else, ranked-choice voting keeps things interesting. Unfortunately, the inconsistency of the voting process sometimes produces surprising results, and not necessarily in a good way.  ,
Meet Shelter Portland, a nonprofit organization that provides daytime housing for the homeless.  ,
Congrats Keith Wilson. https ://t.co/2tpmOwp93T pic. twitter.com/7Vl0gJwbOy— Qagggy! ( @Qagggy ) November 6, 2024
Refreshingly, Wilson opposes the distribution of government tents to people, wants to leave Multnomah County’s homeless partnership agreement, and previously held positions as CEO of a trucking company before running for mayor. His is a “fossil free” trucking company. He wants all city vehicles to use alternative fuel sources.  ,

Gee, a guy who’s had a job outside of government before. Portland has n’t had one of those since Bud Clark.  ,
This is Bud.
This is the famous” Expose Yourself to Art” statue/poster featuring former PDX mayor Bud Clark https ://t.co/bW7rS8ndxb pic. twitter.com/1myGM0CRmq— Scott Klatt ( @hecktow ) October 27, 2024
Clark’s job was n’t only to pose for this risqué poster. The popular Goose Hollow Inn was owned by him.  ,
Bud was one of a kind.  ,
We’ll withhold judgement of Wilson.  ,
Bye, Ted
Wilson replacesTed Wheeler, who has termed out as Portland mayor.  ,
That’s right, the man who oversaw some of the biggest blunders in the city of Portland— an untenable increase in drug tourists, which spilled out into the sidewalks, streets, and freeway underpasses of the city, an increase in drug cartel traffic, and allowing the Secular Taliban, comprised of Antifa, anarchists, and BLM, to strip speech rights, tear down statues, burn buildings, and terrorize citizens— is no longer mayor of Portland.  ,
Angels
San Francisco’s tech moguls and angel investors desperately tried to defeat the wokest, weirdest, and most destructive member of the city/county commission that runs the city, Dean Preston.  ,
As of this writing, the Democratic Socialist whose district that includes the Tenderloin, and the now highbrow Haight-Ashbury looks as if he’s losing the latest round of the ranked-choice voting.  ,
He ca n’t be gone fast enough.
Rent seekers
In the City of Portland and the State of California, Messed CoastTM, two attempts to impose rent control on the West Coast were rejected.
Proposition 34, which restricts the use of prescription drug money and also includes rent control, was defeated by California’s voters.

What factors were involved in this vote, according to Will Swaim, who runs the California Policy Center and hosts the Radio Free California podcast with financier David Bahnsen:
This organization exploits the federal drug discount program for AIDS medications, resells those medications at much higher rates, makes money off of it, and then invests it in rent control projects. For that reason, Proposition 34 comes back from the apartment owners who are saying, you know what? We’re going to stop that malicious practice.
This guy will face punishment by having to spend almost all of his money. Instead of making a profit from that program, he now needs to spend 88 percent of his income solely on the purposes for which the program is intended, i .e., helping to provide for those who require these federal drug discounts. That guy calls this a social benefit organization, the guy who runs the LA AIDS Foundation.
Imagine that.  ,
Spams of normalcy
Oregon voters said no to ranked-choice voting. Portland and San Francisco have been so messed up that Oregon’s voters voted no thanks to a 60-40 margin.
Oregon being Oregon, however, the measure to make it easier to unionize pot industry employees won.  ,
Gas is good
There is some good news, even though the land of vanity issues are still producing woke demobots in the state’s statewide offices.  ,
After getting bamboozled by termed-out ( thank God ) Jay Inslee’s fake carbon plot, which would eventually have banned natural gas—the cleanest fuel out there—Washington state voters said hey, we like natural gas, and voted to keep it. In order for Washingtonians to be able to maintain their homes warm in the winter and cool in the summer, they voted “yes” on I-2066.  ,

… because Inslee did n’t think that was important.  ,
His replacement is worse, however. Washingtonians voted Attorney General Bob Ferguson into the governor’s office. He’s the former wingman for Inslee, giving him the cover of his office for lockdowns, firings, forced COVID mandates, and other ill liberal programs. He was okay about COVID fines and restaurant owners going out of business. He gave the olé to the Department of Corrections to let out top tier sex perverts, put men in women’s prisons, and give inmates, including a notorious murderer, free sex change surgery.  ,

So called” conversion” talk therapy for unhappy gender-confused people is still illegal, but actual conversion is not.  ,
It’s science, people. See? It’s all there on the sign to read.  ,
This sign appeared on a San Francisco coffee shop yesterday.

I’ll be looking into the disappearing West Coast, Messed Coast™ voters that I wrote about in , Did God Rapture Some 15 Million Democrat Voters? If Not, Where’d They Go? West Coast media are asking with a straight face, Gee, where’d they all go? Gavin Newsom appears to be using taxpayer dollars to lead the opposition against Trump in a bizarre manner, too.  ,
