The society gathered together Saturday for the state’s monthly Veterans Celebration, including a festival featuring an array of classic cars and automobiles, motorcycles, and more.
The festival began at , Carnaby Square , and somewhat featured a military vehicle followed by , American Legion Post 16 , and the Oleika Shriners cars. As the yearly festival made its way through , London , that evening, individuals waved at onlookers — some perhaps throwing out lollipops for them to fetch.
The festival came to an end at Wildcat , Harley Davidson , within the hour. That, soldiers were provided with a free dinner, tea, and cake.
This annual event is organized by , Laurel County , Judge Executive , David Westerfield , to recognize all who have served the country, a reason which Westerfield holds tightly to his center as someone who has had some family members serve. Each time, he holds the occasion to honor soldiers, showing respect for their dedication and contributions.
