EXCLUSIVE: A report released earlier this year revealed that a FEMA official had advised her team to “avoid” Florida houses from “advertising Trump” That officer, Marn’i Washington, says she is a “patsy” and that FEMA made her a “scapegoat”.
The speech in the leaked picture was” shorthand”, according to Washington. She explained in detail how Washington allowed her supervisors to “know certain streets that we could never do because of angry social encounters,” and how, in addition, she was encouraged and supported in avoiding particular streets” to preserve the crew safe” according to information obtained by the Washington Examiner.
According to Washington, the following phrase in the leaked information mentioned de-escalation, which she said was needed because “FEMA staff were having their lives threatened.”
Washington is pressing FEMA to “turn over event reports” showing more hostilities that caused her to avoid some streets because several of these angry encounters were documented in the media.
To get these reports, The Washington Examiner requested from the Department of Homeland Security a Freedom of Information Act ask.

In response to Hurricane Maria, she said,” Trump has been in office for a second time, and FEMA has engaged in some shenanigans that do n’t necessarily align with American political views.” Everyone deserves a chance at disaster relief, and they have n’t found a way to do that without putting their coworkers in hostile work environments.
As a result, she says, orders from the top say to” try to avoid ]hostile places ] at all costs”.
According to Washington, FEMA instructed her never to speak with the internet and that the government agency may “take care of it.” She rather claimed that they “gave her” and “used my solitude and allegiance to use me as a scapegoat for what is happening.”
House Majority Leader , Steve Scalise , (R-LA ) said he intends to open an investigation into the report that this FEMA employee , blocked disaster relief from supporters of President-elect Donald Trump.  , Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis echoed Scalise, calling for his own condition research.
