Eleven people were hurt when a Lufthansa journey from Buenos Aires to Frankfurt sprang into action over the Atlantic. According to a report from the Reuters news agency, the flight confirmed that five travellers and six staff members suffered minor injuries during the event.
The Boeing 747-8, which was carrying 329 people and 19 team members, hit turmoil in an northwesterly consolidation area. The airport reported that the turbulence was minor and did not cause any significant harm.
In response to a statement from DPA news agency, a Lufthansa spokesperson said,” The security of the flight was not in danger at any time.” The injured were treated right away on Tuesday at 10:30 am ( 9:53 GMT ), after the aircraft safely descended to its intended location.
This affair follows a similar event in May when a Singapore Airlines flight was suddenly slammed into Irrawaddy Basin, injuring 30 people, and killing one customer.
