During the 2024 campaign, Democrats and Republicans did what they always do: They spoke past each other, accused one another of horrible things, and assumed the most sinister intent to anything ( and everything ) the other side did.

Some of it’s just par for the course in a full-contact, high-stakes political campaign, but much of it ran deeper than that. Republicans and Democrats were confused over the same problem at its most severe, but for completely different reasons:
Liberals kept comparing Trump to Hitler, according to Republicans, who were unable to explain.  ,
As a PR technique, it was a fool: Hitler was a murderous warmonger who sought world supremacy, Donald Trump flips French fries and inspires a garbage truck. Aside from the evaluation being horrible, ridiculous, and generally untrue, its PR magnification simply did not work.  ,
The Democrats foolishly spent a billion dollars on campaign resources by pretending that the first zillion and first time would be the one that broke through. It did n’t work the first zillion times.
On the other hand, Democrats honestly, truly could n’t understand why Republicans kept turning to Trump.  ,
From the politician’s point-of-view, the Republicans ‘ love with the MAGA Man not made any sense:” Didn’t they see the threat he poses to our nation?! You individuals claim to be the freedom-loving republicans, yet you’re empowering the world’s worst tyrant”!
But surely, they assumed, after January 6 and all those felonies, Trump’s Svengali-like carry over the GOP had suddenly break. And when it did n’t, only one theory made sense:
Donald Trump’s power and influence is also GREATER than we thought! He’s brainwashed all of them — only like, also, you-know-who:  , *cough* HITLER , *cough*

For all the arrogant condescension the Far Left heaped on foolish GOPers during the Qanon trend, their Trump-is-a-Nazi conspiracy theory is far more terrible, because there’s rapidly more data about Hitler, Nazis, and World War II than underground government cabals. Both ideas were burning mounds of dung, but at least the Trump-is-a-Nazi one had a distinctive taste!
But the biggest difference, of course, is that the GOP did n’t actually run a presidential campaign on the basis of Qanon. The Harris-Walz group campaigned in 2024 — and lost — making” Trump is Hitler” and” Democracy is on the line” their personal call-to-action. The Democrats believed that this would help to attract Harris-friendly citizens.
Why? It’s because of a psychological defence mechanism called “projection“.
And this is the key reason the Democrats are still so obstinate that Donald Trump will use force against them and become “like Hitler.”  ,
Really, this is a very genuine fear of the Far Left:

Each of the preceding stores has a ranking with the Mainstream Media, and each of these stories only spans the past seven days!

Why does the Far Left continue to insist that Trump did use force against the government?
Because that’s what they do!
Think about it:
What happened when Obama was leader? The Democrats weaponized the IRS to pin Democrats. It was intentional and purposeful. The timetable speaks for itself.
What happened when Biden was leader? Republicans were the targets of the Democrats ‘ use of force. The issue of “lawfare” was a galvanizing concept for liberals.
What about FEMA only got revealed a few days ago? Americans who supported Donald Trump were punished by the Democrats by using crisis relief. A conservative officer who opposed Trump issued a directive to her subordinates to reject state aid.
But, of course the Democrats assume Trump may destroy the authorities! How could he not? !
After all, it’s precisely what they would do.
