Anduril Industries just unveiled two new synthetic intelligence-powered drones designed to assist military functions through light, easy-to-use systems.
In a recent press release, Anduril Industries announced that the defense industry company was “unveiling the , Bolt , family of man-packable, vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL ) Autonomous Air Vehicles ( AAVs ) that delivers simple and flexible capability for a variety of missions”.
The Bolt-M drone, according to Anduril Industries, is “designed for man-packable ISR and search and rescue,” while the Bolt-M drone is “designed to finger any ground force with devastating precision firepower, leveraging onboard software to automate the flight behaviors required to accurately track and hit a target, while providing people operators with four straightforward choices: where to look, what to observe, how to participate, and when to hit.”
According to Anduril Industries, the fresh assault drones are “powered and controlled by a military type of Anduril’s Lattice program platform”. The Bolt-M helicopter features application that includes trip automation designed to help operators find, track, and hit moving targets. The vehicle’s tracking can also be modified by using a” basic laptop software”. The fresh attack drones, according to the defense contractor,” can handle complicated tasks rather than focusing on standard navigation.”

Bolt-M, which was developed for ease of operation and quick implementation in a man-portable deal, has customizable conflict distances and wedding modes, more than 40 minutes of strength and 20 kilometers of variety to extend the reach of mounted forces, according to a recent press release from Anduril Industries.
The Bolt-M is also capable of carrying up to three pounds of munitions, which would allow the drone to have enough firepower to target dismounted enemy combatants, light vehicles, and trenches, according to Anduril Industries.
Due to the two artificial intelligence-powered drones ‘ lightweight and compactness, Anduril Industries claimed in a recent press release that the Bolt and Bolt-M would allow military personnel to “easily add the Bolt or Bolt-M to their equipment loadout.” In addition, Anduril Industries noted that the Bolt-M can be “provided with on-demand precision firepower at a moment’s notice” by allowing it to be unpacked and launched in the air in less than five minutes.
Both the Bolt and Bolt-M drones are seen in action on a video posted to Anduril Industries ‘ website. The new attack drones feature advanced technology as well as ease-of-use, according to the video.
