Britain’s Queen Camilla, recovering from a neck infections, recently spoke honestly about her past tobacco behavior during a reception at Buckingham Palace.
At the occasion on Wednesday, Camilla and King Charles met with many movie and TV actors. The Queen engaged in a dialogue with Paddington artist Emily Mortimer and discussed Mortimer’s family, Penelope, whom Camilla knows individually, according to a GB News report.
When Mortimer mentioned that her family” sends her love”, Camilla asked about her well-being. Mortimer responded, as quoted by GB News,” Oh, she’s still smoking as much as ever”, prompting Camilla to remark,” Oh, she’s still on the fags”?
Mortimer next asked the Queen,” Oh, have you leave the posers”? Camilla replied,” Oh yes, I quit 20 times ago”, earning Mortimer’s compliment:” Well done”.
A 1997 image of Camilla holding a cigarette outside her Wiltshire house sparked public rumors about her smoking behavior. However, next month, Queen Camilla’s brother, Tom Parker Bowles, refuted these statements in an interview with The Times, saying,” She has not drunk a glass of rum in her career. Does n’t smoke”. He added,” I’ve never seen her so much as a tipsy, but she often drinks beer.”
After missing Remembrance Day activities because of her condition, Camilla returned to her royal duties this year. She stated that she is “on the rebuild” at a greeting for Booker Prize winners earlier this year. Although it takes some time to get rid of these things, I’m on the restore right then.
Despite returning to some activities, her deadline remains reduced, and she will lose the London launch of Gladiator II.
