When two police officers knocked on Allison Pearson’s entrance, the blogger and main examiner for The Daily Telegraph, to get ready for Britain’s Remembrance Sunday. She believed they might have been present to inform her that the festival, which is a part of the celebrations, was taking place in her streets. They were no.  ,

Pearson was made aware that she was being investigated for a crime known as the “non-crime love occurrence,” or NCHI, abbreviated in the United Kingdom. What triggered the investigation? One month prior, Pearson had posted everything on X. Of course, she wanted to know the blog to which the soldiers, or PCs, were referring. She was informed that she could n’t tell the PCs. Her next issue, obviously, was who her complainant was. The PCs were also prohibited from telling her that the claimant was the victim rather than the complainant, despite making corrections. Writing about her practice in the Telegraph, Pearson commented:
As I sat down to write” Today,” I began, taking my breath away from the hordes of people stopping to look at the woman in a dressing gown addressing two cops,” we are commemorating hundreds of thousands of American men, most of whom are about the time you two are then, who gave their lives so that we could sit in a free state, not under the jackboot of dictatorship,” And you, YOU come here on this divine time … You know, those men, they could never have imagined that their land, our state, the state they died for, would ever become a spot where the police may turn up at the door of a person who has done nothing inappropriate…”
I think that’s approximately what I said. It’s what I felt, anyhow. And as I spoke, warming to my design, which was liberty, I realised how really horrible this was.

On X, Pearson has enthusiasts from people of various faiths. She drained her brains while attempting to identify the potential trigger for her accuser. She recalled a year ago when she was a part of the anti-Palestine rallies and the October 7 problems. She even recalled the Essex police department’s condescending and lax attitude toward her companion, who had reported home violence, force, and forgery by their companion to the office. She considered the sharp rise in crime in her country, including violent crime, and the fact that people may take from the neighborhood stores with violence.  ,
She correctly questioned the officials about the officers ‘ time constraints and questioned why it had taken them twelve months to conduct an investigation. A odd silence ensued, according to Pearson. She learned two days later that the Essex authorities informed the Telegraph that she was being looked into under Section 17 of the Public Order Act of 1986, which deals with, in her thoughts, “material reportedly” good or intended to cause cultural hatred.” Pearson even noted:
A mature Home Office official has informed me that key constables prefer NCHIs because they receive brownie points from numerous pressure groups. ” Great news, we recorded 15 NCHIs for Islamophobia this month”!
We have been told numerous times, most just by an ex-pat from the UK, Fr. Calvin Robinson, that Britain has fallen. The country that gave us Dunkirk, the Battle of Britain, and Churchill’s conversation in which he said the country do not sacrifice has done just that. And scarcely a shot was fired.  ,

We should never forget how near we have come in the UK in the past to the situation as we clean up the last of the confetti from election day and have our last chuckles over the meltdowns of nose-ringed women.  ,
Does anyone remember the IRS under the Obama administration? If not, the weaponization of Biden’s DOJ should still be fresh in everyone’s memories. The harassment of school board parents and the manipulation of social media remain among the deep state’s greatest hits, of course, as does the Hunter laptop imbroglio. Finally, we have the legacy media’s and its allies ‘ shrill complaints that anyone spreading disinformation is not a member of their ranks. Of course, we have n’t added in the accusations of “hate speech” that have filled the air like clusters of fruit flies in recent years.  ,
There have been numerous reports of the much-hyped widespread defection from X in the wake of the report that some people feel icky inside because of it. It frightens me, and it should frighten you, too, that so many people are willing to risk their voices, along with those of other people, to relish the illusion of safety.  ,
Yes, they are free to choose alternatives to X. However, these people are looking for a place where they can reaffirm their worldview and muffle dissention, likely with the heckler’s veto at the very least. They have made it clear that they and their government and media counterparts intend to remain despite their departure.  ,

It may be too late for the UK, but with Trump’s election, we have two years, perhaps four at best, to do everything possible to prevent Orwell’s vision from becoming a reality. While” 1984″ was set in England, the United States was an Oceanian, and what is happening in the UK can happen here.
