There’s a lot of talk about what Trump should perform first item on 20 January. But, first things first, I’d assume that any statement I make will likely be overstated by actual occurrences. Trump is probably no longer able to see the field because he is thinking so far outside the box, according to what we have learned in the last nine times. It’s over the sky behind him. So we got some exciting scares, and you know what? I’d rather jump off a cliff and say,” Oh, I’m so much smarter than he is,” than to wonder why he’s making the decisions he does.

Look, someone who thinks Trump is naive is — oh, hell, “high on their own source” is a dreadful hokey, but I’ll take votes for a better one.  ,
Yet, we do know that he entered a court in a condition that was notoriously anti-Trump and received 312 electoral votes and a trio, with the Executive and the House and Senate as well as a dominant bulk in the popular vote.
But, if he’s silly, we should hope Mitt Romney had taken some silly lessons from him.
Let’s analyze some of his nominees and speculate as to what he thought.
This begin by enquiring about his true objectives. He probably has n’t been crystal clear about them, which is one of the reasons he blew past Harris in a drag race like a cyber truck. He told us what he wanted, and it was issues Americans wanted.
- He wished to control inflation, which included controlling the money supply and controlling investing because printing money helps to finance increased investing.
- He wanted to control the boundary. Nowadays, I’m a little fluffy on immigration. People have the right to sit where they want, in my opinion, and I believe that is true. However, some kind of controls must be used to prevent emigration. Otherwise, the Biden administration was encouraging nations like Venezuela to release their worst prison and take the worst to the United States, at the expense of the United States. It would be interesting to examine their motivations in a different context.
- He desired to clear out the Intelligence Community and the Department of Justice. Piece of that, I think, is a desire for revenge. Another aspect is that earlier Obama governments, including the most recent Obama III one, have made the world even scarier. We need to be able to believe that they are working in the U. S.’s objectives. I’ll probably read more about that subject in a separate article, for then, leave it at that.

Cash Supply/Spending/Inflation
So he has Elon and Vivek. Watching that will be interesting, but I’m certain that the current government ca n’t reduce spending significantly.  ,
Every one of the current state employees knows down deep in their bones that , their , phony-baloney task is crucial and, in fact, should have more money, and they will avoid cuts in , their , budgets to the death.  , Every damned one.
Remember that both Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter tried to cut spending within the normal government processes ( e. g., zero-based budgeting ) and failed. No matter what the Executive Branch says, I do n’t believe it can be carried out within the traditional bureaucratic procedures.
Immigration
On multiculturalism, he’s got actually all the energy he needs to make a big impact.  ,
Mass arrests? The key there is that noun: what’s a bulk deportation? Having ICE, or worse, the U. S. military going from door to door asking for people’s papers just is n’t happening, and if it were tried, NGOs would be funding immigration attorneys to fight in court for the next fifty years. Before being expelled, youth would now be abuelos and abuelas.
However, there are many ilegales in this country who have been found guilty of crimes. They can be expelled quite plainly. Begin with them. Then start enforcing the laws that say you ca n’t employ the ones who remain, and cut off assistance to non-citizens. This should result in a lot of volunteer ( in some sense ) exits. Possibly offer assistance while they reserve a seat on a flight house.

Lower the inflow, achieve a gross flow, and the issue will more or less solve itself.
The’ Deep State ‘
Another kind of horrid cliche, but I do n’t have a better word for it. We have seen, and then know with real certainty, that from no long after Trump came down the stairway — maybe even before — the U. S. government, through the FBI and the intelligence community ( if there’s any useful contrast no longer ), began an extensive, expensive, active system to prevent his election, and when that failed, to make his presidency as ineffective as possible, perhaps even remove him prematurely.
This is where it gets really interesting.  ,
Let’s start with the biggest recent kerfuffle: Matt Gaetz. Yes, autocorrect I mean Gaetz. He threw bombs at members of Congress who did n’t deserve it, which hurt the GOP cause in the process, so I do n’t know why I would choose him as dog catcher. ( I’d put Marjorie Taylor Greene in the same category. ) But , he was done dirty by DoJ and he’s got the receipts. ( See , Mollie Hemingway’s piece in The Federalist , for details, but the TL, DR is he was accused by anonymous sources, the Justice Department spent a year and did n’t find anything, but people keep dragging it out.) Make it a recess appointment, make it an “acting” appointment, and replace him with Matt Whittaker in six months. In the meantime, we’ll see a lot of bad actors fleeing the department, and Merrick Garland will need to put anti-diarrheal meds on his Amazon subscription.

If Garland actually committed crimes, that would be interesting.
John Ratcliffe, the CIA director, is once more choosing a person with knowledge of where the bodies are interred. Everyone who attended the CIA, with the exception of a few exceptions, came because they believed they were James Bond but disliked their offices too much. It appears to have actually gotten worse. I suppose I ca n’t repeat the phony-baloney jobs video, but I’m tempted.
Anyone who has studied the CIA’s history is aware that they believe they are too intelligent to allow themselves to be restricted by mere executive orders.
I think Ratcliffe’s biggest problem is going to be whether the CIA can bring itself to accept any direction, and what to do if they wo n’t.
Tulsi Gabbard as director of National Intelligence. Once upon a time, the director of the CIA was the director of Central Intelligence, which is exactly the same job as the director of National Intelligence. When it was discovered that the DCI was n’t up to it, there was an additional layer of bureaucracy.
Well, adding that extra layer does n’t seem to have actually helped much, and it opened up the chance for more political influence. Tulsi is aware of political influence within the intelligence community, having been labelled anathema a few days after calling Hillary a warmonger.
The most prestigious Eff Around and Find Out award is actually this. I believe that this will provide ample justification for our understanding of what has been happening over the past eight years.

The fact is, the DNI is many layers away from operational intelligence, the primary job is to present the presidential daily briefing. Someone who will continue to support the PDB is what we need.
Things to do in general
Gaining control of the reins will be Trump’s biggest challenge. The remnants of the previous Obama-corrupted administrations will be very hard on him and will be very vocal in their opposition. A start on that:
- Declassify a lot, especially what he initially declassified at the end of his first term. The Epstein client list. Everything related to Crossfire Hurricane. Maybe with a little care about sources and methods, but the default should be declassification.
- Terminate everyone with clearances after leaving the government with security clearances. Make them re-apply. But the Famous 51 should be told not to bother. And take it seriously if you’re going to charge them with espionage.
- Trump should seriously think about resigning from active duty for a court martial, including Mark Milley. Conduct unbecoming, which is what officers get charged with in place of insubordination.
Do you recall the old joke about the “500 lawyers buried neck-deep at low tide”? ” A helluva start”.
My impression is that Trump’s nominations are a long way off.
