On Thursday, Donald Trump gave a speech at the America First Policy Institute ( AFPI ) Gala that took place at Mar-a-Lago. He was introduced by” Rocky” comedian and director Sylvester Stallone, who gave a small but powerful statement. Although he only had a quick moment to speak, his quick comments are popular on social media.

When I learned that Stallone would be there, I was genuinely surprised. He’s been not entirely forthcoming about his politics, and the last I heard, he did n’t vote for Trump in 2020 or 2016.
” I’m sitting up on this one, I know Joe Biden, wonderful guy”, Stallone told Variety in 2019. Even though everyone assumes I’m crazy straight, which is false, I try my best to stay out of it.
He added,” I wo n’t go to fundraisers, I wo n’t do anything. I’m really an ancient director and that’s it”.
And so far as I know, he has not publicly supported anyone in this period.
But there he was, introducing Trump at the occasion. His appearance, according to The Daily Beast, was” coming out of the MAGA bedroom.” I guess that’s true.

” I did n’t expect this, but I’ll just keep it short and sweet because there’s no such a thing as a speech too short”, Stallone began his Mar-a-Lago speech.
” When I did’ Rocky,’ if you remember, the second picture was a portrait of Jesus, and it says,’ Resurrection A. C. Club.’ I discovered a transformed fighting ring in a converted church. The picture then appears to be Rocky being hit by Jesus.

Stallone continued:
And in that time he was a chosen people, and that’s how I began the journey—something was going to happen. Like President Trump, this guy was going to undergo a transformation and alter life. A truly magical figure is present. I love folklore, and this person does not occur on this earth. Nobody in the globe may have prevented what he did. So I’m in wonder.
Without him, you could not imagine how the world would look, so when George Washington defended his land, he had no idea what he was going to change it.
Stallone concluded,” Think what? We got the second George Washington. Gratitude”.

During his statement, Trump called the 2024 vote “most significant vote” and gloated over his popular vote success.
” They would say,’ he did n’t win the popular vote.’ And we now have the most popular vote, which means no one can say that about us again,” Trump told the audience.
He also paid tribute to the newly chosen Cabinet members and top management figures, many of whom were present.
Just announced takes who attended the annual dinner on Thursday night, including Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum.
Notably, Trump did not give a cry out to previous Rep. Matt Gaetz, who he had announced as his solicitor general and who was also in attendance.
Trump transitioned into complimenting Musk, who he’s spent a lot of time with since winning, as he exchanged greetings with some audience members.  ,
” We have a person with incredibly high IQ,” the author writes. Trump thanked him for fighting in Pennsylvania on his behalf, noting that I believe in high Scores and that his is” about as high as they get”.
The Department of Government Effectiveness was then led by Trump’s partnership of Ramasamy and Musk.

Trump also made it known that Doug Burgum may be his interior minister.
