A PR expert claims that music mogul Sean” Diddy” Combs ‘ A-list celebrity friends are “scared to death” of being asked to testify against him in court. In a Brooklyn confinement facility in New York, he is awaiting trial for racketeering and sex trafficking accusations, which he denies. His typically outspoken group of celebrity friends has remained somewhat silent since his imprisonment in September.
Eric Schiffer, a star problems and PR professional, spoke about the lack of public assistance for Combs, telling The Mirror,” Unlike Harvey Weinstein or R Kelly, the response to Diddy’s arrest is tremendously calm within the celebrity community”.
Schiffer attributes this solitude to fear, saying that stars are afraid to leave their companies in the spotlight and leave their fans soiled because of their ties to Diddy, and worse, to being subpoenaed into Diddy’s chamber of strategies.
Prior to his May 5 test, Combs ‘ legal team recently requested his release on parole. The judge cited concerns about possible see intimidation as justification for the judge’s rejection of a past bail request in September. Combs is now facing 100 sexual abuse complaints, including those brought against him in both criminal and civil situations.
