Sylvester Stallone heaped praises on President-elect Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago and said no other person could pull off what Trump did, almost like a mythical character, like Rocky Balboa, like George Washington. “I am in awe. This individual does not exist on this planet. Nobody could’ve pulled off what he pulled off,” the 78-year-old actor said at the America First Policy conference last night.
Describing the beginning scene of Rocky Balboa where the camera moves from a painting of Jesus to Rocky Balboa getting punched by his opponent in a boxing ring, Stallone said,” When I did Rocky, if you remember, the second picture was a portrait of Jesus, and it says,’ Resurrection A. C. Club.’ He claimed that I discovered a turned boxing ring at the church. ” So the picture is Rocky being hit, from Jesus.”
” At that moment, he was a chosen man and that’s how I began the journey. Something’s gonna occur, this gentleman is gonna proceed through a transition and change lives. Only like President Trump”.
” And I’ll only say this, and I mean it: When George Washington defended his country, he had no thought that he was going to change the universe.’ because you could picture how the world would look without him.
” Think what? We got the second George Washington”, he said.
Stallone therefore expresses his congratulations on the victory of November 5 by applauding him while he was standing.
Sylvester Stallone claimed to love Donald Trump in 2016, but later admitted he had hardly cast a ballot. He claimed he wanted the winner to be in 2020. ” Even though everyone assumes I am so crazy right, it’s no true”, he said. ” I wo n’t go to fundraisers. I do n’t do anything”, Stallone added. ” I’m just an old director”. Stallone not identified himself as a Republican.
