President-elect , Donald Trump , announced next Saturday that he will not be inviting Nikki Haley or Mike Pompeo to be a part of his next administration.
Haley, who ran against Trump in the 2024 Republican presidential primary election, served as the U. S. ambassador to the United Nations during Trump’s second term in office, while Pompeo served as the director of the Central Intelligence Agency from 2017 to 2018 and the secretary of state from 2018 until the close of Trump’s first name. According to Fox News, both Republican leaders reportedly made strong applicants for positions in Trump’s subsequent administration.
In a Saturday speech on Truth Social, Trump wrote,” I will not be inviting past Ambassador Nikki Haley, or former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to meet the Trump Administration, which is now in development. I’ve worked with them a lot and I’m grateful for the services they have rendered to our country. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN”!
Haley endorsed Trump in his battle against Vice President Kamala Harris despite the fact that she was running against him in the Republican key. In a Wall Street Journal op-ed published shortly before Election Day, Haley wrote,” I do n’t agree with Mr. Trump 100 % of the time. However, I tend to believe with him and almost always disagree with Ms. Harris. This is a simple decision because of this.

Pompeo also endorsed Trump ahead of the vote in an , available letter , signed by national security officers and Gold Star people. The email noted that the earth was “at serenity” under Trump’s authority, while the Biden-Harris leadership brought the United States” closer to a third world war than ever before”.
Following Trump’s news, Haley shared the president-elect’s declaration on X, previously Twitter, and wrote,” I was proud to work with President Trump defending America at the United Nations. I wish him, and all who serve, tremendous success in moving us forward to a stronger, safer America over the next four ages”.
On Sunday, Pompeo even released a statement on cultural advertising, saying,” Mr. President– I was happy to work with you too. As you pointed out, last week when we worked together, we created the strategy that made the world safer and, as you said, prevented fresh war. America strongly rejected the Biden-Harris international coverage agenda. America must once more come second, in our eyes.
