Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a previous independent nominee for president in 2024, was named as Donald Trump’s nomination for secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services on Thursday.
Trump remarked in a statement on Thursday that he was “excited to welcome Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services ( HHS).”
In his post on Truth Social, Trump claimed that Americans have “been crushed” by pharmaceutical companies and the commercial food complex, which have “engaged in fraud, propaganda, and propaganda” regarding the common health of Americans.
The president-elect described the health and safety of American citizens as the “most significant role” of any national administration and explained that the Department of Health and Human Services did “play a great role” in helping guard Americans from the “harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, medical products, and food additives that have contributed to the enormous Health Crisis” in the United States.
Trump added,” Mr. Kennedy did recover these Organizations to the traditions of Gold Standard Scientific Research, and lights of Transparency, to stop the Chronic Disease illness, and to Make America Great and Healthy Repeatedly”!

Kennedy made a Democratic presidential campaign debut in 2024, but he later dropped out of the Democratic primary and made an impartial charge. The separate member ultimately ended his campaign and endorsed Trump.
After receiving Trump’s election on Thursday, Kennedy tweeted,” Bless you @realDonaldTrump for your authority and confidence. I’m working with you to revive your vision for a good America.
Kennedy referred to the future Trump presidency as a “generational opportunity to bring up the greatest minds in research, medicine, business, and authorities to put an end to the chronic disease epidemic.” The former independent candidate stated that he is eager to work with over 80 000 Department of Health and Human Service employees to “free the agencies from the smothering cloud of corporate capture so they can pursue their mission to make Americans once again the healthiest people on Earth.”
Under his leadership, Kennedy said the Department of Health and Human Services will work to remove corruption, end the “revolving door between industry and government”, and redirect the country’s health agencies back to” their rich tradition of gold-standard, evidence-based science”. Kennedy also pledged to be open and honest with the people of America and give them the tools to make informed decisions for their families.
Kennedy said,” I’m an honest public servant who serves the American people.” ” Let’s go”!
