Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia’s war against his country does “end sooner” under US President-elect Donald Trump’s administration.
” The conflict will end, but there is no actual time. Of course, with the coverage of this group, which will then lead the White House, the conflict will stop sooner”, he told Ukraine’s Suspilne presenter.
Trump has stated that he wants to strike a bargain with Moscow right away.
In an exam released on Friday, German Chancellor Scholz claimed that Trump had a “more complex position on Ukraine than is frequently assumed.”
Scholz, who spoke with Trump by telephone on Sunday, told the German Sueddeutsche Zeitung daily his visit was” a very detailed and good talk” about the situation in Ukraine. Asked whether Trump may create a bargain over the head of the Ukrainians, Scholz said Trump gave” no sign” he had.
