A joyous cover story, a beautiful photo shoot, and the promise of more home duties were included in John Krasinski’s coronation as People’s Sexiest Man Alive on Tuesday.
The 45-year-old” Office” entertainer and” Jack Ryan” comedian joked that his family and” A Silent Place” co-star Emily Blunt has plans to keep him sincere as he joins the ranks of winners including Patrick Dempsey, Chris Evans, Michael B. Jordan, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. In his include history, Krasinski admitted that” I think it’s going to make me would more housework.”
” After this comes out, she’ll get like,’ All correct, that means you’re going to actually make it here at residence,'”  , he added.
Krasinski and the” Devil Wears Prada” student married in July 2010 and reveal two young girls. While the Hollywood power partners has  , recently poked fun , at their love, Krasinski got candid about their relationship, telling the publication he is” so lucky”. He also said it’s a “beautiful factor” to grow and evolve alongside the Oscar-nominated” Oppenheimer” sun.
Krasinski claimed that Blunt had joked about having his magazine cover hung on the walls of their Brooklyn house in addition to the extra housework.

It seems Blunt was n’t the only one cracking jokes about Krasinski’s coronation. The most recent Nicest Man Alive received mixed reviews on social media from both fans and critics. Multiple users channeled a popular bit from” The Office” to congratulate Krasinski — , tweeting , photos of actor Randall Park instead of the ,” If” director. In the show, Krasinski’s Jim , pranks  , co-worker Dwight ( Rainn Wilson ) by hiring an actor ( Park ) to carry out his duties.
For some other social media users, Krasinski’s unveiling also proved contentious. As one fan , tweeted , that it was” about time he got that recognition”, another user , wrote , that the choice made for “another devastating Tuesday evening in November”, evidently hinting at the , effects of the 2024 election. On Instagram, viewers congratulated the “freaking Vision BOAT” while others , grieved , for their alternative stars including Pedro Pascal and Glen Powell.
Krasinski, like some deniers, thought his collection was a joke at first.
” Only instant blackout, really. Zero feelings”, he told the newspaper. ” Another than even I’m being punked. That’s not how I wake up, thinking,’ Is this the time that I’ll get asked to remain Sexiest Man Alive?’ And yet, you guys chose that morning. You people have actually raised the bar for me.
