Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA ) is urging the Democratic Party to consider the bigger picture rather than reacting to President-elect Donald Trump‘s every move or tweet.

Fetterman claimed that Trump had won the “jackpot” this season, with Republicans holding control of the Senate and the House of Representatives at least until 2026.
He did, however, warn that while fighting again is necessary, a sense of perspective may be maintained for Democrats to keep their attention.
” ]Republicans ] can run the table right now”, Fetterman warned. They” can move the board without a doubt,” he said, at least for the next two years. And that’s what I think we should all be concerned on, no small posts or strange forms of appointments”.

Trump lit up established Washington this week with questionable government takes, including Tulsi Gabbard Director of National Intelligence, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for Human Services Secretary, and previous Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz for Attorney General.
Fetterman made it clear that he does n’t love everyone, but he also said that party members should n’t freak out.
Sens. Marco Rubio (R-FL ) and Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-Treasury ) were chosen as Secretary of State and ambassadors to the UN, according to the Pennsylvania senator, who criticized the choices of “absolute trolls” like Gaetz.
In 2022, Fetterman defeated Republican Dr. Oz to become the party’s front-runner in the Senate, but he has since become a reasonable leader.
He had earlier warned blue state Democrats that Democrats in crimson states like his own can be harmed by their more vehemently political policies. Trump won Pennsylvania this cycle, and incumbent Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA ) appears to have been unseated by Dave McCormick.

Fetterman claimed that Elon Musk’s time and money spent in the Keystone position and the fact that Trump’s famous assassination attempt occurred in Pennsylvania likely contributed to his situation there.
” There’s going to be a lot of popular takes”, Fetterman said of post-election punditry. Before this vote, there were many warm takes. However, many of the decisions made before the election led to where we are now and are obvious.
