Duffy served as a city counsel in Wisconsin from 2002 to 2010 after appearing on a number of reality TV shows, including which he met his wife. Although his approval as the following Fox News contributor to receive a Cabinet candidacy is likely to stifle opposition, his extensive experience in Congress, including that of former Rep. Matt Gaetz and Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth, will make him less contentious than others.
