House Speaker Mike Johnson was slammed against him on Tuesday night for not responding to a simple problem. He was asked whether Rep. Sarah McBride, an incoming freshman lawmaker from Delaware who identifies as trans, is a man or a woman. McBride is a person who presents as a girl, so Johnson’s solution should have been simple: McBride is a guy.
But he could n’t do it. Otherwise,  , he smirked and deflected. ” I’m not gonna find into this”, he said. We treat everyone with respect and dignity. And we will. And I wo n’t start silly discussions about this.
Johnson did, nevertheless, acknowledge that” there’s a problem about the uses of restroom facilities and locker room and all that”. Oh is it?
Rep. Nancy Mace introduced a bill stipulating that on Capitol Hill, people must use the children’s services and people must use the men’s services, which is rightly opposed to McBride or any other person.
Johnson would have been the simplest person to have merely stated,” McBride is a man and he will have to apply the men’s facilities here in Congress.” Just because he dresses like a woman or believes he is, does n’t mean that. Following problem”.
Johnson seems to think it’s also 2012 and Republicans need to take, or believe to take, the underlying premises of the woke left-wing view. He appears to have missed out on the recent wave of positive energy that has caused Republicans to win the Senate and House by a disaster.
He also appears aware that the transgender problem is a major public health concern that few people want to be involved with. Today, the majority of Americans are in agreement on transgender problems. According to , one recent study, 72 percent of Americans think it should be improper to give children under age 18 menstruation filters and “gender change” surgeries. Only 19 % believe transgender propaganda should be taught in public schools, while only 13 percent think boys should be allowed to play girls ‘ sports.
In addition, Trump won, and Republicans now have a lot thanks to ads that denigrate Democrats ‘ transgender nonsense. After winning the election, Johnson is now too afraid to declare openly that people are prohibited from using women’s restrooms on Capitol Hill.
Possibly perceiving he was being brutally criticized for being a poor fool, Johnson quickly , convened an impromptu click conference , afterwards on Tuesday to” understand” and “walk forward” his earlier notes. ” For anybody who does n’t know my well-established record on this issue, let me be unequivocally clear. A person is a person, just like a person is a woman. And a person may become a woman”, Johnson said. Finally he talked about treating people with respect.
He explained to the audience that he had “rejected the concept” of the earlier query about McBride “because the answer is therefore evident.” But he had n’t reject the premise, he merely refused to answer because it made him uncomfortable. Additionally, he always responded to the original inquiry, which was about whether or not McBride is a man or a woman. He would have said,” I reject the premise of the question,” if he had actually wanted to and responded to the question. McBride is a man, no matter how he clothes or what he calls himself”.
Even after making an effort to be “unequivocally clear,” he still had n’t responded to the question about whether McBride is a man or a woman or whether he’s a man or woman. He also had n’t said what would happen to Mace’s bill.
It should n’t be difficult, and it’s truly amazing that a Republican House Speaker, who is already in control of both the executive and legislative branches of government in January, would fail so spectacularly on this fundamental issue. Every one Republican may help Mace’s measure to ban people from children’s areas on Capitol Hill, and anyone who is n’t on board may be shamed, mocked, and thrown out of business. That’s what Johnson should have said, and without a second thought. But he did n’t because he’s a mealy-mouthed coward who’s afraid of being called mean things by the corporate press.
For her part, Mace is n’t backing down. Asked about it on Tuesday,  , Mace said,” If … being a feminist makes me an extremist, I’m totally here for it. … I’m not going to stand for a man, you know, someone with a penis, is in the women’s locker room — that’s not okay”.
And for her trouble, Mace immediately started getting death threats from trans activists, one of whom said he wanted to find her in the women’s bathroom and kill her by , bashing her face into the floor.
The time has come to put up with this insane behavior. Americans should reject the false notion that men who dress like women are anything but disturbed men in need of professional help. And we should demand that our elected leaders take a more calculated position than Tuesday’s Speaker Johnson did.  ,
