Yener is currently awaiting trial while he is imprisoned in federal court for allegedly trying to use an incendiary device to kill a creating involved in interstate commerce.
After a suggestion revealed that Yener was storing drawings for making bombs in a backup system, the FBI said he had been under investigation since February.
The FBI found pictures, settings, electrical circuit board, and other supplies probably useful for constructing explosives. Yener had been researching bomb-making methods virtual since 2017 according to data.
Court records reveal Yener’s intention to pin the Stock Exchange in lower Manhattan during the week before Thanksgiving, a high-profile meeting that had, according to him, give a powerful message. He allegedly told covert FBI agents that the US authorities would be “reset” if a bomb went off at this site.
Yener had discussed plans to use a mask while planting the weapon and had updated two-way radios to function as rural triggers for incendiary devices as part of the preparation. He reportedly searched for a system strong enough to blow up the building’s doors and cause major damage.
Yener expressed anti-government views, claiming the US was “due for a revolution”, as per an FBI oath.
He mentioned earlier attempts to join right-wing militants in discussions with undercover agents, and he made a comparison to Osama bin Laden, the mastermind behind the September 11 attacks.
The case, initially reported by CourtWatch, explains the degree of Yener’s strategies, with national authorities describing his purposes as” a substantial domestic risk”.
