The Department of Education’s abolishment has been a topic of conversation for a while, according to Trump. For traditional liberal protesters like myself, Kneecapping the DOE is the Great White Whale. The approaching President of the United States has never been the subject of any mouth support from some Democratic politicians over the years.  ,

On Tuesday evening, after CNN reported that he was selected Linda McMahon for his Secretary of Education, President-elect Donald Trump made it official.
Quite a statement mainly focused on McMahon’s prior experience, including her position as a co-chair for the Trump-Vance change team but also her support for school decision:
The Democrats are in complete resentment toward the American Federation of Teachers and the National Education Association. The Dems may end up with whatever Prilosec they may have left after the election thanks to McMahon’s support for school choice.  ,

McMahon was described by The New York Times as” a former professional wrestling executive with little education policy experience.” What the perennially clueless leftists do n’t understand is that’s a feature, not a bug in this situation.  ,
The Democrats love bloating the federal bureaucracy. They’re very good at it too. Education is the Dems ‘ sacred cow because they sneer at the unions ‘ financial tidbits. They portray the DOE as a Cabinet-level department since George Washington’s days in almost reverential terms. In reality, it is one of the worst legacies of Jimmy Carter’s one term in office.  ,
The statistics are overwhelming, and children in America are not being smarter as a result of more federal funding. Anyone who attended a fourth-grade institution is aware of the inefficiency or even poor performance of federal bureaucracies. Anyone who attended the fourth grade before the DOE received full Cabinet status, that is.  ,
The Department of Education has only been able to provide Democrats with a justification for their assertion that public schools require more funding. The DOE bureaucratic behemoth has a largely untapped potential for funding that would improve the quality of education. It’s a built-in excuse to keep bilking American taxpayers.  ,
It’s not ideal to let the fat federal fingers rule the country’s education system, but it’s also the least least bad thing for the futures of American schoolchildren.  ,

It also serves as a direct assault on the Democrats ‘ main funding source. The National Education Association is by far the largest labor organization in the United States, despite the fact that all public sector unions are major Dem supporters. An impressive sum of money is involved when the NEA and the AFT combine their financial resources. The California Teachers Association is the most powerful political lobby in the state’s largest state, which explains why. By the way, the CTA is associated with the NEA.  ,
Because their superiors in the teachers ‘ unions insist that they are, the Democrats are vehemently opposed to school choice. They would rather abandon the pipeline for taxpayer money to enroll urban children in unsafe, failing institutions.
The Trump administration has a unique opportunity to impact young people in America. Even if the DOE does n’t go away completely, subjecting it to sever contraction would be a great start.
