Pete Hoekstra, the president of the Michigan Republican Party, will serve as the next U.S. adviser to Canada, according to Donald Trump‘s presidential nomination.
During his first management, Hoekstra served as Trump’s adviser to the Netherlands and served as a representative from Michigan for 18 years.
” Pete is well-respected in the Great State of Michigan — A express we won modestly. He was a great asset to our Campaign as the president of the Michigan Republican Party, according to Trump in a Truth Social article, and he has done so for almost 20 years. He also served as the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.
” I overhauled the disastrous NAFTA Agreement, the worst Trade Deal in the History of the United States, which was switched to the USMA ( Mexico/Canada ), which no one thought could be done. We equalized our great farmers and working people ‘ trade with Mexico and Canada. Pete did assist me in putting America first in my next term once more. In his first four years as United States Ambassador to the Netherlands, he did a remarkable task, and I’m confident that he will continue to do so in this new capacity. Bless you, Pete”!
On Wednesday evening, Hoekstra responded to his election in a blog on X.
” Honored for the opportunity to serve”, he said. ” Thank you, Mr. President”!
