The Ukrainian military is reporting that Russia fired an intercontinental ballistic missile ( ICBM ) along with six other missiles at Dnipro, in Ukraine’s southeast. But an unknown American official told ABC that the weapon was not a long-range weapon, but more a shorter-range nuclear weapon.

The Russian weapon was launched from the Astrahan territory, in Russia’s south. More than 1,200 yards separate the town of Dnipro from the Astrahan region, according to Google Maps. The other rockets fired at Dnipro were KH-101 weapons with a range of about 2, 100 km.
If this is accurate, Vladimir Putin’s increase comes after Biden launched an American ATACMS into Russian country for the first time, allowing the country to have some of its own escalation. This kind of tit-for-tat increase could get out of power. Putin claimed he had changed Russia’s nuclear strategy to make any Ukrainian missile attack on Russian soil an attack that may call for a nuclear strike.
I’m no trying to be an alarm. However, someone will have to climb down from the ledge after the activity of escalation begins, or the world will start to suffer. I do n’t see Putin backing down. Because he believes his “Ukraine Project” wo n’t be as successful as Donald Trump’s term of office, Biden is actually allowing Ukraine to unleash the full range of U.S. weapons on Russia.
Certainly, Putin was sending a text with the ICBM start. Washington and the West likely see this “message” in the same context as another Putin warnings about dark outlines in giving Ukraine Abrams vehicles, fighter planes, and long-range weapons.

The introduction of North Korean soldiers to assist Russia on the field, according to U.S. officials, has contributed to the development, which has led to U.S. President Joe Biden’s decision to permit Ukraine to launch longer-range U.S. missiles into Russia. The Kremlin threatened more escalation in response.
Putin has recently warned Russia and other NATO supporters that allowing Ukraine to attack Russian country with longer-range arms from the West would imply a conflict.
Biden keeps stepping across Putin’s red lines, confident that the Russian president wo n’t act on his threats. What if Biden is bad? The psyche experts at CIA have analyzed Putin’s words and actions and are assuring him that he is n’t serious, just as he was n’t serious about enforcing all of his other “red lines” during the war, and they have likely prepared dozens of scenarios.
I need n’t tell people that if Biden and his officials are bad, there are no do-overs, no second possibilities. And that’s a big issue.
Specifically for our VIPs: Quarter of Ukrainians want the war to end right away, while less than 4 in 10 want to battle until the end.
If you’ve never read it, you should examine Robert F. Kennedy’s” Thirteen Days”, a guide about the Cuban missile crisis. The movie does n’t do the book justice. It was a terrible time, as you can imagine. In an effort to prevent the United States from surrendering, President Kennedy struggled to keep Kruschev out of the spotlight.  ,

The idea that” we were eyeball to eyeball and I think the other fellow only blinked” was perpetuated in the wake of that incident. In reality, Kennedy gave up some effectively useful Jupiter ICBM’s stationed in Turkey, but who “blinked” is a matter of perspective.
I do n’t trust Joe Biden to manage the situation. At this point, leaders are concerned about their “legacy”. Does how that develops in Russia and the Ukraine determine whether Biden and I will even have a legacy to look at.  ,
