The majority of politicians are able to tackle bad press for once. Hey, it happens: You suck it up, taking your chunks, and move on. However, reports with legs are what kill jobs.
It’s that drip-drip-drip that affects you.

And this brings us to Pete Hegseth. You are aware of Donald Trump’s numerous case takes, even if you’ve been living under a stone. Marco Rubio for secretary of state, for instance, has one of the few candidates that has generated a lot of discussion. At the top of the former listing is Matt Gaetz, the would-be solicitor general, but a close second is Pete Hegseth, Trump’s option for secretary of defense.
It’s a pity, because he has but some excellent qualities. It’s easy to discover why Trump tapped him: Hegseth is a smart, Ivy League-educated fight physician with multimedia experienced, a pro-MAGA view, good looks, and an apparent TV presence. It sounds simplistic, but it’s really never, in PR, the internet makes the information, and all messages need a message. With his competence, Hegseth may come as an important adviser for Trump, for MAGA, and for all the brave men and women in our Armed Services.
Unless he’s upended by sexual abuse claims.
Under the old guidelines— and by aged, I mean that old” Before Time” that preceded the 2016 Age of Trump — Hegseth’s bird may be 100 % cooked. The claims are major, but more important, there’s going to be a drip-drip-drip. Strategically, there are just too many opportunities for the Democrat Party-mainstream media gang to prolong the narrative.
It’s certainly going ahead.

For senior political junkie, it’s a tale we’ve seen played and replayed ad nauseum. Second, a very serious argument is made against a liberal. Therefore, every single day for the next month ( or until the liberal quits in disgrace ), there’s a pounding of bad reports: How could this happen? Is it a political trouble? Any other patients? Conservatives do n’t care, do they? Why are they therefore evil? How do we protect our children from such awful, horrible villains? !
The “victim “‘s breaking of silence and telling her story is what the media most aspires to. Under the old rules, a friendly, camera-friendly sufferer was often enough to torpedo Democratic careers. Not always — Clarence Thomas survived ( barely: 52 for, 48 against ). But more often than not, your occupation was through. A friendly victim was depicted in the deathblow telling a sympathetic journalist a compassionate story.
Nothing specific: That’s just how this House of Cards was played.

But Donald Trump changed all. Not on his own, yet. The Democrats are arguably the cause of Pete Hegseth’s confirmation, ironically enough!
” Beware that when fighting villains, you yourself do not become a monster”, warned Friedrich Nietzsche.
The Democrats should’ve heeded his notice.

Well, the allegations against Pete Hegseth are critical. If he’s innocent, he’s an awful human being. However, the outdated regulations never more use. A major incident, amplified by a violent mainstream media, are no longer enough to stop Democratic careers.
Want hear some more significant complaints? Trump might be Hitler, but that seems incredibly critical. Or a Russian detective. Or a sequential murderer. Or a nazi. Or a narcissist. Or a discriminatory. Or an anti-Semite. Or a revenue lie. Or connected to the gang. Or Putin’s marionette. Or an insurrectionist. Or trying to destroy politics.
The government has eventually learned to tune out the Democrats after so many people outbursts.
That’s the risk with crying bear: It costs you your trust.
The Democrats became villains themselves because they were so persuaded by Donald Trump’s demonization. They initially weaponized the state against him because they believed he would use it against his adversaries.
All of this was witnessed by the Americans. And they asked themselves,” Why should we believe the accusations of monsters”?
Pete Hegseth may probably still be alive.
