Actor Ellen DeGeneres, who previously starred as the number of the” The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on tv, has officially moved out of the United States and relocated to Cotswolds, England, with her family Portia de Rossi after President-elect Donald Trump’s 2024 vote disaster.
Options with knowledge of the original broadcast star’s transfer told The Wrap that DeGeneres and Rossi purchased a house in Cotswolds, England, which is about two hours from London, prior to the 2024 presidential vote. But, a source told Fox that while the property was purchased prior to the election, DeGeneres and Rossi were “very disenchanted” with Trump’s election disaster and soon decided” to get the devil out” and leave the United States.
Sources also told TMZ that DeGeneres and Rossi are planning to put their property in Montecito, California, up for sale following their relocation to England. DeGeneres and Rossi reportedly purchased the Montecito property in 2019.

DeGeneres and Rossi’s departure from the United States and their relocation to England is reported by Page Six, which comes after numerous social media users questioned DeGeneres ‘ intentions to leave the country following Trump’s victory in the election.
One social media user wrote,” Did n’t Ellen say she’d leave the country if trump is elected?”? Meanwhile, another social media user commented,” Are n’t you supposed to be leaving the country by now”.
The former television star reportedly contributed$ 3,300 to the Harris campaign during the course of the 2024 presidential campaign.
In an Instagram post endorsing the vice president, DeGeneres stated,” There’s nothing more powerful than a woman whose time has come!! I ca n’t wait for @KamalaHarris to be our next president”.
DeGeneres also urged her Instagram followers to cast ballots in the 2024 election in a post posted on November 1. The Seneca Project compiles a video that features various women’s movements in the United States for the comedian’s post.
