Two of the biggest superstars in the NFL, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, are in the news this week for a different purpose. On Oct. 6 and 7, thieves broke into both the player and small end’s properties in the Kansas City place in less than 48 hours, apparently targeting the athletes.  ,

The Mahomes house in Belton, Mo., was broken into around evening on Oct. 6, according to People magazine. There was no sign of forced entry, and it’s not obvious if anything was stolen. Kelce’s Leawood, Kans., home was broken into on the night of Oct. 7, and according to TMZ, the secret was damaged and$ 20, 000 was taken. It’s possible that the thieves were aware that the Chiefs were n’t at home when they played a home game the same evening at Arrowhead Stadium.  ,
Many law enforcement organizations are now involved in the burglaries, including the FBI, despite immediately being thought to be a nearby problem. The purpose? Sources say that it’s part of a larger, more powerful business, and many in legislation enforcement believe a” South American murder ring” could be behind it. Additionally, it is occurring in affluent districts all over the country, not just in the Kansas City location.  ,
Security expert Mike Barbieri told Fox 4 News in Kansas City,” It does n’t surprise me at all that this crime spree that is taking place across the entire country is designed by some very sophisticated people in some sort of cartel.” Anyone who just had their house worked on and then miraculously had it burglarized, he added, may draw an intriguing summary from that. Some of the workers on the job site may have met cartel participants and are allegedly selling the data. He also suggested that online sources for information on famous people and other affluent people are quite simple.  ,

Other players have been targeted by these thieves, but not just Mahomes and Kelce. Earlier this month Bobby Portis, an NBA legend who plays for the Milwaukee Bucks, said his house was likewise burglarized, and authorities suggest it may all be connected. Like Kelce, the incident occurred on a day when Portis, who was playing in a match at Fiserv Forum, was evidently no home. According to Portis, the criminals “prized property” took his goods on social media. Mike Conley, who plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves, even dealt with a crime at his apartment in September and lost some pieces of jewelry. Linval Joseph, the defensive player for the Dallas Cowboys, just committed a similar crime.  ,
All 32 of the National Football League’s groups received a letter immediately from the group, informing them of their potential successors. According to KMBC 9, law enforcement agencies in Colorado, California, and other states have reported that this” South American murder ring” is targeting affluent neighborhoods in some of their populations. Thus far, no arrests have been made. Check out the review from KMBC 9 below.  ,
