Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, said that in response to Kyiv’s recent use of American and British-made arms on Russian place, that his troops might launch a new missile after attacking Ukraine.
Russia’s latest escalation of conflicts in the long-running conflict comes on Thursday when it said it fired an Oreshnik weapon at Dnipro. On Friday, Putin met with representatives from the Defense Ministry and manufacturers of weapons to applaud them for a successful check.
According to the chairman,” We will remain these testing, including in battle problems,” depending on the situation and the nature of the security threat created by Russia. He added that Russia already has a share of these weapons and that he has ordered serial output to start.
As President Joe Biden reversed his decision and allowed Ukraine to launch an attack on Russia using US-supplied ATACMS weapons, Putin has lowered the bar for using Moscow’s atomic army. Russian targets were also hit by UK-made Storm Shadow weapons.
The new weapon is capable of reaching target across Europe, making it better than some high-precision arms of a longer variety, Sergey Karakaev, the chief of Russia’s Strategic Missile Forces, told Putin at the conference, which was also attended by Defense Minister Andrey Belousov.
Since the start of the war, Ukraine has persuaded European partners to deliver air-defense methods, including the US-made Soldier batteries, despite first fear on the part of its friends.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, announced on Friday that his defence minister was meeting with colleagues to discuss “new systems that can protect existence from fresh risks.”
