Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is sharing a prison housing unit with fallen hip-hop mogul Sean” Puffy” Combs, the , Daily News , has learned.
The two performers are both housed on the same dorm-style ground at MDC Brooklyn, where they’re sharing room with big-time bitcoin fraudster , Sam Bankman-Fried, 6ix9ine’s attorney confirmed Tuesday.
The” GUMMO” performer, Daniel Hernandez, was born and raised in the United States, and earlier this month signed a deal with federal authorities that would place him in prison for violating the terms of his supervised release.
TMZ recently reported that he was being held in isolation for his protection, but his attorney,  , Lance Lazzaro, confirmed he’d been moved out of solitary confinement in the prison’s” Special Housing Product” on Friday.
” He was transferred to that same product that , P. Diddy , is in. How they’re getting on, I have no knowledge as to that”, Lazzaro said Tuesday.
Hernandez, who reportedly turned applicant against people of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods group five years ago, violated the terms of his launch by leaving , Florida , without permission to travel to , Las Vegas, failing to comply with required pharmaceutical tests, and testing positive for methamphetamine.
He had just a few more weeks to go on controlled launch before his , Oct. 29 , imprisonment.
” He’s not happy, but he understands and accepts his responsibility”, Lazzaro said. ” He’s looking forward to getting out. He realizes it wo n’t be long before he realizes that he is likely going to be at home in another three weeks.
The defence lawyer said “nothing has changed, as far as the meals or anything like that”, in terms of conditions at MDC Brooklyn, which is famous for violence, health mistreatment, nasty and contaminated food and nasty conditions.
” It’s still deplorable”, he said.
Combs, 55, faces racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and other charges, and is accused of using his business empire to sexually abuse, drug and coerce women into participating in marathon, drug-fueled sex parties he called” Freak Offs”.
Combs ‘ attorneys have made numerous efforts to free him from a$ 50 million bond. According to the prosecution, he was charged with running a blackmail and public relations operation while he was a prisoner. In addition, his attorneys have requested a hearing into how the government obtained his jail cell records.
