More than 100 US airports have recently implemented innovative technology to stop travelers from skipping board lines. If someone attempts to check their ticket before their allotted group is called, the system issues an loud alert to the gate agents.
A board go will not be issued until the designated group is called in the new technology, so people who arrive very early may be asked to return and wait for their turn.

The airport tested the technique at three flights: Albuquerque International Sunport, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, and Tucson International Airport. The technology is being developed in time for the holiday rush, thanks to good feedback from employees and customers.
