Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, praised India’s election process on Saturday for its speed. Musk was responding to a post on X (formerly Twitter) highlighting how India counted 640 million votes in a single day.
” India counted 640 million votes in 1 day. California is also counting seats”, Musk wrote.
His statement made a comparison between the California election’s fast matter and the ongoing vote counting in November. California, the most populous U. S. position, is known for gradual voting calculating.
The condition relies heavily on mail-in vote, which take longer to process than in-person seats. Over 300, 000 votes remain unreported in California.
In the 2024 US Presidential vote, former vice president Kamala Harris defeated former president Donald Trump. Trump’s presidency is returning with this success following his 2020 battle.
Following his inauguration, President Trump appointed Elon Musk as the head of the newly formed” Department of Government Efficiency”.
