A Civil Air Patrol helicopter crash in Colorado, US, on Saturday claimed two life, including aircraft and an underwater photographer. While the aircraft was conducting program education, an incident occurred in Larimer County.
According to a statement from the company of Colorado government Jared Polis, the deceased were identified as captain Susan Wolber and flying artist Jay Rhoten.

The co-pilot, Randall Settergren, sustained injury and was airlifted to a health service by the Colorado Army National Guard.
” I’m saddened to hear of the loss of two focused Civil Air Patrol people, Captain Susan Wolber and flying artist Jay Rhoten, who lost their lives in today’s fall and my feelings are with their families, friends and colleagues. These people, along with veteran co-pilot Randall Settergren, who was injured, served the Civil Air Patrol as individuals who wanted to help create Colorado a better, safer area for all”, Polis posted on social media app X.
Major public Laura Clellan claims that the aircraft was on a regular training objective at the time of the collision.
The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs ‘” legal air patrol participants make a significant contribution to the state’s population’s health,” according to the statement. We are devastated to learn that Randall Settergren was hurt while on a teaching objective in Larimer County and that Susan Wolber and Jay Rhoten were lost, according to Clellan.
Clellan expressed pain for the families of the victims, saying,” Our thoughts and condolences are with the families of the accident victims.”
Polis also expressed his sympathies, saying,” The State of Colorado is thankful for their commitment to service, and it will not be forgotten. I want to congratulate the second responders who assisted with the recovery and treatment efforts.
The Civil Air Patrol, a nonprofit corporation and the standard ancillary of the US Air Force, is involved in various expeditions, including search and rescue operations.
