In the end,” Surgeon General” is a wasteful and frequently counterproductive position that Trump should abandon entirely ( assuming the goal is to improve public health and not advance special interests ).

No one needs a covert official in a ridiculous admiral costume who uses tax money to dictate how to live their lives, much less one who has been doing so for illogical and illogical reasons.  ,
What we need, in my opinion and apparently millions of other Americans ‘ given the recent election results, is a bulldog like RFK Jr., doctor or not, to clean up the water, air, drug, and food supplies through — and I know this is anathema to conservative orthodoxy, but I believe it’s necessary in the real world with bad industry actors who do n’t care about human health and often, indeed, seem hellbent on ruining it — regulations.

But anyway, if this government fat is to remain in eternity, the Surgeon General had clearly to be someone simply never like Janette Nesheiwat, Trump’s nominee.
Via Politico (emphasis added ):
President-elect Donald Trump said Friday he has chosen Dr. Janette Nesheiwat to serve as surgeon colonel in his new leadership.
Nesheiwat is a contributor to Fox News ‘ medical coverage and the medical director of CityMD, a network of essential care facilities in New York and New Jersey.
” Dr. Nesheiwat is a fierce advocate and strong communicator for preventive medicine and public health”, Trump said* , in a statement. ” She is committed to ensuring that Americans have access to affordable, quality care, and believes in empowering individuals to take command of their health to live longer, healthier lives *”.
Nesheiwat, who specialized in crisis and home remedies, has supported vaccinations that Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s candidate for HHS minister, has cast doubts around**.

What does it really mean to “believes in empowering people to lead longer, healthier life”? Trump does not speak or write in this manner. I have no idea why he allows any staff member to create this social language gobbledygook instead of making his own statement in plain English, which he denies. It comes across as filthy, deceitful, and blatantly off-brand.
In the admitted support of Public HealthTM, Janette has constantly promoted and praised censorship of rebel voices on the subject.  ,
For instance, Facebook’s terrible COVID censorship program— which resulted in me losing my accounts that I’d had for over fifteen years, which I then regard as a blessing in disguise — was and probably also is yum-yum for Janette’s tum-tum.
Wow: Trump’s pull for Surgeon General, Janette Nesheiwat, praised Facebook for silencing “anti-vaccine” attitude &, wanted other organizations to do the same.
It is inappropriate to silence those who have valid concerns about an exploratory vaccine.
Shame on her!

She referred to the COVID “vaccines” as “gifts from God” because they were never and always were actual vaccines and killed and maimed more people than we can possibly ever account for.
Trump’s pull for Surgeon General Dr. Janette Nesheiwat is a COVID monster.
She describes the COVID vaccination as a “gift from God.”

She even fearmongered on officially traditional Fox News in 2021 when the” blogger” who was interviewing her about COVID “putting our kids in the hospital in history numbers” and why facilities were “running out of ICU rooms” did not respond.
Both claims were lies.

When Americans elected Trump, none of this garbage was approved of by the electorate.

Whatever toolbag from the pharmaceutical industry snuck into Trump’s ear and made such a poor choice, one that amounts to spitting in the face of all of his voters who elected him out of exhaustion and fury with the Public HealthTM system, which is a lot, if not a large majority of them.
