In a more than 100-year-old history, President Joe Biden pardoned his final two hens on Monday at the White House.
” Fellas, your prayers are going to be answered today”, Biden said in a meeting on the South Lawn. I now forgive Peach and Blossom based on your social outlook and devotion to being effective members of society.

The two birds who traveled from Minnesota to the situation, each weighing about 40 weight, were given the names Peach and Blossom. They were named for the cherry blossom, the express rose of Delaware, Biden’s house.
Biden participated in the monthly service for the fourth and final moment with a 2,500-person group, which was occasionally interrupted by Peach’s conversation.
In times of humor, he praised the existence and nature of the two birds.
” He lives by the motto ‘ stay calm and devour on,'” Biden said of Peach, while Blossom’s tagline was,” No birds sing, only Minnesota good”.
The turkey forgive tradition , times back , to original President Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War, though it has evolved over the years.
Under previous President George H. W. Bush, in 1989, a turkey’s pardon became a custom in advance of the trip, for which the animal is the country’s standard primary food. His father, former President Ronald Reagan, became the first to employ the word “pardon” in the meeting in 1987.
Biden peppered his conversation with turkey-flavored gags, saying the two animals were supporters of Bon Jovi’s 1986 hit” Livin’ on a Prayer”.
” Today, Peach and Blossom will visit the free birds of the United States of America”, he said.
