On Thursday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed an executive order to shield Texans from harassment and force from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP ) or its proxies. The Texas Department of Public Safety ( DPS) is mandated to detain and detain people engaged in State control activities, such as the PRC’s” Operation Fox Hunt,” which seeks to forcibly accept Chinese nationals living overseas.

Abbott’s order follows a new FBI-Houston reminder about PRC methods, including cyberbullying, abuse, and harassment of dissenters and their communities in Texas. The Houston area’s residents who have been subject to PRC multinational suppression are urged to report incidents by the FBI.
Prior to this, the FBI had originally charged people connected to Operation Fox Hunt with stalking and extorting Americans. Operation Fox Hunt, according to FBI Director Christopher Wray, is a CCP plot that targets social competitors, critics, and rebels abroad, using everything from threats to using home members as force.
