Every morning I wake up and say,” Thank God Stacey Abrams is n’t my governor”. I do n’t really, but maybe I should. Under her leadership, I dread to imagine how my dearest state of Georgia had look.

However, Democrats think that Abrams not only should have been Georgia’s government but that she also accomplished, umm, everything as not-governor. Do n’t be alarmed by Martin O’Malley, the head of the Democratic National Committee’s tweet:
The Democratic Party’s goal should not be to become the exceptions to what @staceyabrams did in Georgia and beyond. In my capacity as head, I’ll make sure that Democrats fight for voter protection in ALL states. #DNCChair photograph. twitter.com/J2P2NCjwI2— Martin O’Malley ( @MartinOMalley ) November 26, 2024
Let’s get one thing right right out of the gate:” Voting right” in Georgia had nothing to do with Abrams. Georgia’s election integrity laws, which led to record attendance for all, including immigrants, was the work of Republicans in the Peach State. To offer my companion Cody Hall, who served as Gov. Brian Kemp’s (R-Ga. ) communications director during the real governor’s first term,” My dude is stuck in 2016 and loving it”.
Fact check: Georgia’s election integrity laws, which led to record majority participation in the position, was the function of Republicans. Staceyabrams was not involved in it at all. Since we’re discussing Abrams ‘ efforts, Chairman O’Malley, this take a look at what she accomplished, shall we? When I finish, you probably wo n’t want to hold her up as an example.
In 2018, Abrams ran far to the returned, and she alienated lots of working-class Citizens. Less than a week after Hurricane Michael destroyed it, she actually insulted Georgia’s huge agricultural sector. She remarked to a crowd at Georgia Southern University that people” should n’t have to work in hospitality or agriculture.” Obviously, her campaign denied what she said, but her own thoughts tell the truth.

When she lost in 2018, albeit by a razor-thin ratio, Abrams refused to concede, and Democrats fell in line with the tale. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass. ) Kemp was referred to as the” Republican who is sitting in Stacey Abrams ‘ chair.” ( Warren’s tribal name is Needs to Mind Her Own Business. ) In addition, Kemp established himself as a strong traditional and made Georgia even better for people.
Connected:  , When May Democrats Apologize to Georgia for Lying About Election Integrity?
After the 2020 election, Georgia’s General Assembly sought to make Georgia’s elections more stable, or as Kemp put it, “easier to voting and harder to lie”. The remaining became angry after the government passed a expenses that did just that and actually strengthened the rules in 2023. ” Vote destruction”! was the yell from Democrats.
Abrams wrote an op-ed in USA Today calling for businesses to protest Georgia as Joe Biden and Kamala Harris brought up the old” Jim Crow” straw man. Major League Baseball diligently followed her guide and moved the 2021 All-Star activity from Atlanta, taking untold millions of dollars from minority-owned companies.
USA Today after stealth-edited Abrams ‘ op-ed to loosen the language. The Atlanta Braves won the Fall Classic and brought the postseason and World Series game to Atlanta for the final time.
When the 2022 presidential race began, Abrams decided to run once to dislodge Kemp. Georgia should be in charge of it, her angle essentially translates to” Georgia sucks, but put me in charge of it.” We learned more about Abrams, including how strongly she fought for women’s rights before deciding to run for office.

Abrams used terrible stunts to trick voters, including showing up in Georgia’s hometown of Athens when the Georgia Bulldogs were away from home. She and rapper Latto shared a sign that read” My Body My Alternative” while she was on stage. She attempted to win her success as the chairman of Earth in a Star Trek television appearance.
Abrams took a tonal-deaf picture of herself with a group of students, all of whom were wearing veils, while she grinned unmasking. She also attempted to take advantage of the Little Miss image trend, but she was unsuccessful.
Abrams ‘ plan positions were even worse. Although she professed to help law enforcement, the organization she served on the board of actively backed defunding police. She even said she was “honored” to work with an organization that funded anti-police methods. She also claimed to be an “ally” to the LGBTQETC community but spoke at a church with an anti-gay ( and pro-Louis Farrakhan ) pastor.
When the poll rolled about, Kemp trounced Abrams, who was no fit for the governor’s fierce social system and immense popularity. Kemp won every state election, with the exception of the Senate.
Since Republicans passed the election integrity costs, Georgia has seen record attendance in all of its votes, once more without Abrams ‘ type or assistance. Georgia has continued to be dark despite increased majority attendance.
