Wisconsin School District Received $1M for ‘Health Equity,’ ‘Social Emotional Learning’

To advertise woke social justice ideology to sensitive young minds, a Wisconsin school district was given a million dollars.

The Greater Watertown Community Health Foundation employee grant was notified by a local Watertown Unified School District parent organization, Parents Defending Education ( PDE ). The base favors and promotes&nbsp, “health capital” in the local area. In woke Newspeak, “equity” is the reverse of the American definition of justice, meaning that teachers use cultural obsession and prejudice to benefit what they view as poor teams. SEL is usually tied to” social fairness” and critical race theory activities, according to PDE. &nbsp,

As we allocate resources to less-developed populations in our communities, the heath base boasts that “health capital will be at the forefront of our decisions, along with the voices of those with lived encounter.” Take note of how presumably underrepresented groups are favored. &nbsp,

The base emphasizes,” Equity begins privately, with our corporate policies and practices, and extends upwards to our objectives, our partners, our investments, and our relationship with the group”. In other words, Communist politicians are their best concern. Additionally, they wished to give it the major concern in addition to the neighborhood’s educational system.

Does any of this actually help students learn, or is it just another way to get kids to think less about communist emotionalism and see everything through a Socialist lens? As noted above, SEL is too often tied to CRT and” social justice” efforts, which is why it has been investigated and criticized over the last couple of years, including in reform-minded Florida, where Gov. Ron DeSantis made it as difficult as possible to get out of the classroom. SEL is often a Greek horses for CRT, revolutionaries have warned.

Parents can now hope to challenge the Watertown university city and impose changes, like those that Florida has already made, thanks to PDE’s expose of the decay.
