On Wednesday, South Korea experienced its heaviest snowfall in more than 50 years, causing delays to everyday actions like traveling.
The storm blanketed the money, Seoul, with 20 meters of snowfall in northern places, according to South Korea’s weather company. This is the most frost the town has seen in November since a surprise in 1972 brought 12 inches.
The storm affected different parts of the country, including key, southeast, and western provinces, which recorded 10 to 23 centimeters of winter. At least 220 flights were delayed and canceled at flights across the nation as a result of the icy situations. Additionally, officials closed plenty of hiking trails and kept about 90 ferries at ports.
South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported a five-vehicle crash in the northeast area of Hongcheon, which left one man dead and four wounded.
The wind agency predicted rain will continue to fall in the majority of the nation until Thursday.
