A Finnish couple’s dream wedding in Miami ended in heartache when she was discovered dead in the street merely 23 days after getting married.
Aleksandra Leczycka, 26, and her father, Dawid Leczycki, had travelled from their home of Siedlce, Poland, to celebrate their wedding in Florida. However, their ideal excursion ended horribly.
On August 29, 2022, the newlyweds were discovered incapacitated on a street in Miami. Aleksandra painfully did not survive, while Dawid regained consciousness. Local officials first believed they had been drugged and robbed when they discovered them without any income or jewelry.
But, a two-year re-investigation by Finnish prosecutors revealed a different picture.
According to the Siedlce District Prosecutor’s Office, Aleksandra’s dying was likely caused by the deliberate use of psychotropic substances, which may have led to either an abuse or a serious allergic response.
Prosecutor Krystyna Golabek stated,” Broad analytical procedures were taken, including a demand for legal help from the British part, which provided the materials for their investigation. Additionally, experts were sought in chemistry and computer technology.
Golabek emphasized that none of the data supported the original theory of forced alcohol, despite the fact that the researchers did not completely rule out the possibility that the pair had been drugged unintentionally.
Aleksandra and her father Aleksandra shared happy pictures online and net while sipping cocktails and relaxing on the beaches of Miami. These photographs, posted just before the horror, now serve as profound messages of the child’s short time together after their August 6, 2022, marriage.
The re-investigation, which concluded on October 23, 2024, brought clarity to the strange circumstances surrounding Aleksandra’s suicide but left lingering concerns about how the psychoactive materials came into their hands.
Aleksandra’s father, Dawid, has remained motionless on the activities leading to her untimely passing.
