It frequently appeared as though a motley cast of characters joined forces to aid Donald Trump’s victory in the last days and weeks of the 2024 national election. An eastern black squirrel known as P’Nut, whose mother was killed by a car in 2017, may have been one of the most unexpected election celebrities. Mark Longo, a resident of New York, raised him, and transformed him into a tiny Instagram star with over 500,000 fans.  ,

Longo and his companion moved to Pine City, New York, and opened P’Nuts Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary, an animal rescue business that they claim has helped more than 300 species so far as Peanut’s popularity grew. However, they reportedly did n’t yet have the proper registration for a wildlife treatment, and it’s illegal to have a pet rabbit in New York. Because these days the maid state insists you need a permit for nearly all…
We all are aware, of course, that some curious Karens have already reported Longo and Peanut to the NYSDEC ( New York State Department of Environmental Conservation ). I mean, who you blame them? Knowing that my cousin had a dog squirrel may make it impossible for me to fall asleep at night without it. What a danger to society.  ,
About a week before the vote, the NYSDEC seized Peanut, along with a rescued raccoon named Fred, in a five-hour attack of Longo’s house. Both animals were killed” to check for rabies,” as the terrified rabbit little a NYSDEC employee. Peanut eventually became a symbol of the overreach of the large government, and JD Vance also addressed him at a Trump protest.  ,

And then, thank god, Longo is seeking justice for his little furry friend. Earlier this year, he and his companion filed a state stating that they intend to reimburse the state of New York for many violations, including unlawful search and seizure, infraction of the freedom of speech, mental anguish, and lost wages.  ,

According to the New York Post, the claim that Peanut and Fred’s murder was not caused by a worry of rabies but rather a senseless act of violence committed by government officials in an excess of power and an outrageous demonstration of government abuse was made.  ,
Longo even claims that he was working on the necessary last sanction and that he was adhering to all state laws governing the establishment of an animal sanctuary. Longo took to social advertising to declare that” justice will be served” and that he intends to bring his fans along as he grieves the loss of his beloved creatures. ” You will get a lot of information moving forwards, and it is going to impact all of you”, he said.  ,  ,

Personally, I ca n’t wait to see Longo take on the nanny state. Anyone whose God-given rights are violated does. And aside from probably observing animals, there are few points I adore more than the idea of a small government that runs my place. I have several dogs of my own — 23 at the moment — and while I’ve not dealt with anything like this, I’m infuriated on Longo’s representative. One evening, a friend’s rebellious dog slammed into my house, wreaking havoc on my tiny hobby farm, while I was outside with some of them about a month ago. While I managed to keep most of my species, I had to see as that dog ate my favourite meat, Esther, straight before my sight. It was horrifying. The sister’s reaction was a little frustrating, and it felt like such a infraction of my personal space, my shelter. When someone who earns your earnings enters and “exercises” something so dear to you, I can just imagine what that feels like.  ,
