President-elect Donald Trump has announced the election of Charles Kushner, parents of his son-in-law Jared Kushner, as the next US ambassador to France. Trump praised the real estate mogul and charity for his administration and business skills.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated,” I am pleased to select Charles Kushner, of New Jersey, to function as the US Ambassador to France. He is a great business head, charity, &, dealmaker, who will be a powerful recommend representing our nation &, its interests”.
Trump highlighted Kushner’s efforts, noting his position as founder and chairman of Kushner Companies, one of the largest exclusive real estate firms in the United States.
Trump also cited Kushner’s previous accomplishments, including his position as director and chair of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and Ernst & Young’s New Jersey Entrepreneur of the Year award, and his leadership as one of the US Holocaust Memorial Council.
Charles Kushner’s election comes as his brother, Jared Kushner, remains a vital find in Trump’s inner circle. Trump acknowledged Jared’s contributions to his prior administration, including his role in Operation Warp Speed, criminal justice reform, and the Abraham Accords.
