Baltimore City Schools are in poor condition. Results from the 2024 position test revealed that nearly a third of Maryland students who took the algebra interview last month scored in the lowest level of proficiency, while only 2 % of those who took it scored in the highest level of proficiency, according to a report from Fox 5 Baltimore earlier this year. Zero students in eight of the state’s high schools were math-abundant. Perhaps worse, this is considered a” little development” over last year’s figures. Zero pupils in 13 Baltimore higher schools had math proficiency tests in 2023.  ,

Not only are the common school district’s check numbers lower, but so are graduation rates. In 2023, 10 schools in the city had a four-year completion rate of less than 50 %.  ,
State Superintendent Carey M. Wright announced at the start of the school season that Maryland had support Saga Education, a Massachusetts-based business that provides “high-impact, in-school tutoring,” by partnering with Arnold Ventures. In a statement released by Governor Wes Moore’s company, Wright said,”” High-impact tuition is backed up by research and data when it comes to addressing the pandemic’s impact on student understanding. As we expand effective strategies and help more students achieve better academic results, this expense in our individuals will pay off. We are excited to see the advantages of this relationship.”
While the tutoring might be beneficial, I ca n’t help but think that it’s the educational equivalent of treating the symptoms, not the cause. The area might want to go a little further. Maybe, just maybe, it may focus on teaching arithmetic and other important skills to its elementary school students rather than focusing on topics like gender identification, gay delight, and physical confusion.  ,  ,
Light on Maryland, which claims to be an “investigator” of Fox 5 Baltimore and the Baltimore Sun, requested public information in order to gain access to the university state’s sex education system. When you consider that they are teaching it to babies as young as six years old, what they discovered was very revolting.  ,

According to sex education programs obtained by SOM, Baltimore City Public Schools teach first-graders on gender identity and testicles. https ://t.co/Y9Fdu6kglO— Spotlight on Maryland ( @SpotlightOnMD) November 27, 2024
Baltimore City Schools are teaching first-graders about “our personal parts and biological systems,” according to analytical reporter Patrick Hauf, by displaying cartoons and movies. Hauf also recommends using gender-neutral speech in classrooms. Instead of saying” male reproductive system “and” female reproductive system,” they’re instructed to say” reproductive system one “and” reproductive system two. ” Hauf says by second class, students learn about the” value” of the LGBTetc. symbol, and children in third grade watch videos about how it’s okay to” think biologically confused,” complete with the song” I Kissed a Girl” by Katy Perry.  ,  ,
Fox 5 Baltimore posted a version of the education online, and some of the terminology within is mind-blowing. For instance, in a less called” Pink, Blue and Purple,” an exercise for second grade involves teachers asking them how they know what sex they are and explaining that this is their sex recognize. After that, it suggests teachers tell students the following:  ,  ,
The perception of gender identity is what makes you feel like you know who you are. You might feel like a girl, or you might feel like a boy. Even if you have body parts, some people might assume you are “girl” parts, you still might feel like a boy. Even if you have body parts, some people might assume you are “boy’s parts,” you still might feel like a girl. And you might not feel like you’re a boy or a girl, but you’re a little bit of both. No matter how you feel, you’re perfectly normal!  ,

I do n’t have children, but if I did, I would n’t want some stranger telling my six-year-old how to think about their” parts. ” It’s important to point out that parents can opt out of the sex education program, but I do n’t understand why schools even offer it in the first place. Why are children who have yet to reach puberty required to learn absolutely nothing about sex?
And why is the Pride flag important to third-graders? In the third grade, I’m fairly certain that I was n’t even aware of what a lesbian or gay person was. In fact, I can recall my best friend and I discovering a book about sex that her mother had given to her older brother and being completely shocked by the fundamentals. In the 1980s and 1990s, those were the fundamentals. It sounds like things have changed”. Discuss whether the rainbow flag represents the LGBT and lesbian community’s pride. Hold one up or post a picture for the class to see. Explain that when gay and lesbian people, or people of various gender identities see a Pride flag, it may make them feel welcome and respected,” the lesson suggests. It adds:  ,
It’s common to feel feelings for people of your same gender and for those of your opposite gender during puberty. Sometimes, that’s part of understanding your sexual orientation. Sometimes, it’s not, and you’ll have feelings that come and go. So you may not know what your orientation is right away, or until you’re older – and that’s okay.

Um, no. Fox 5 Baltimore also talked to Dr. Sue Greenwald, a retired pediatrician who works with victims of sexual abuse, who suggested that these types of lessons are the” very definition of grooming” and that the curriculum” normalizes transgenderism. ”  ,
The” Maryland 3Rs curriculum “is based on a program created by Advocates for Youth, a Washington DC-based organization. One look at their website, and you see a bunch of liberal buzzwords that are code for the left’s favorite topics, like abortion, gender identity, and social justice. The program’s authors were former Planned Parenthood employees. It strikes me as being more focused on indoctrinating kids and destroying their mental health than imparting the skills they’ll need to succeed in life. It’s absolutely wrong that Baltimore educators are doing this to an entire generation of children.  ,
This pronoun usage picture was sent to me from a Baltimore elementary school.
According to testing last year, 23 Baltimore schools had 0 math students who were proficient.
Perhaps Baltimore’s schools should concentrate more on academics rather than woke gender pseudoscience. pic. twitter.com/uModO5Oknp
