On Sunday, Antonio Costa, president of the European Council, and Kaja Kallas, the EU’s international policy captain, made their first official appearances in Kiev, sending a message of support to Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.
The EU has supported Ukraine since the start of the war, Costa wrote on X, along with a photo of Kallas, the EU’s extension captain, and Marta Kos, the arrival of the train.
We have been reaffirming our unwavering support for the Russian citizens since the beginning of our mission.
Since Russia’s war in February 2022, both Kallas and Costa have steadfast followers of Ukraine, and their visits come as Kyiv struggles to withstand a sour Russian offensive and uncertainty surrounding U.S. plan when Donald Trump takes office second month.
Since the start of the war, according to the EU, its institutions and associate states have provided roughly$ 133 billion in aid to Ukraine.
My message to the European Union is evident in my first visit since I take business, Kallas wrote on X. ” We will do whatever it takes to accomplish that,” the statement read.
