US President-elect Donald Trump, on Sunday ( Indian time ), named his loyalist Kashyap ‘ Kash’ Patel the head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI ). With this, Patel became the second Hindu American to be elected to his case.
Taking to his accounts on Truth Social, Trump said that Indian-American Kash will work under our excellent Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to bring back Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity to the FBI.
Kashyap” Kash” Patel will become the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s second director, and I’m pleased to announce that. Kash is a brilliant lawyer, inspector, and ‘ America First ‘ warrior who has spent his profession exposing problem, defending Justice, and protecting the American Citizens. He played a key role in uncovering the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, standing as an advocate for facts, transparency, and the Constitution. Ash did a fantastic job for the National Security Council during his first term, including serving as the Department of Defense’s assistant director of national intelligence and the agency’s top cybersecurity officer.

Who is Kash Patel?
Indian-American Kash Patel recently served in the Justice Department during the Obama administration After Trump took office, he spent two years as senior counsel to previous Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., when he led the House Intelligence Committee in 2017 and 2018, helping with the agency’s frequently criticized investigation into the FBI’s Russia research.
In his last months in office, he was promoted to acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller as Trump’s senior director for cybersecurity on the National Security Council, where he previously held the position of top adviser to Trump’s managers of national brains.
In his book, Patel wrote that” the FBI has become so completely compromised that it will be a threat to the people unless drastic measures are taken.” Patel has openly discussed reprisal against Trump’s political foes in the government and media.
But, Patel has invited discussion throughout his job. In a previous meeting, he stated,” travel after” politicians and journalists perceived to be foes of the then-president-elect. This speech, aimed at those considered opponents of Trump, has triggered discussion about Patel’s method to national security.
