Political New York Mayor Eric Adams stated at a press conference on Tuesday that he would rather work with the incoming Trump presidency than “warn” against it.
” I don’t like people talking at each other”, Adams said Tuesday. I want people to exchange ideas. I made it clear that I’m not going to be warring with this leadership. I’m going to get working with this management”.
Adams even announced that he is seeking to meet with Trump’s “border czar”, Tom Homan.
At a press conference, Adams said,” I would love to lay down with the frontier king and hear his thoughts on how we are going to address those who are harming our people. Find out what his intentions are and where our frequent ground is. We may work up”.
During Adams ‘ most recent term as president, New York City has been dealing with an immigration issue. As it now faces a housing crisis for New Yorkers, the town has spent thousands on accommodation and providing products to immigrants.
Adams has to balance being governor of the largest city in America with his legal bribery case. His willingness to cooperate with the Trump administration might be another indication of heat from the Democratic leader, whose case was altered when Trump chose a substitute for the lead attorney in the case against him. Some people believe that the president has favored Trump over another Democrats because he wants a tear in his case.
And with weeks to go before he has to face a number of Democratic primary challengers, Adams is asking the Trump administration for assistance in resolving one of the biggest issues he faced as president. His opponents ‘ speech on multiculturalism is generally in the right.

This president does not appeal to you as governor if you enter this country and this city and believe you are going to hurt innocent New Yorkers, honest immigrants, and asylum seekers, Adams said. ” I’m an American. Americans have certain privileges. The Constitution is for Americans. I’m not a person who snuck into this state”.
Adams disputed that he and Trump worked together to obtain a positive outcome in his situation, but Adams asserted that it was time for a change.
