After US President Joe Biden’s forgive of Hunter on Sunday, allegations of paid fee have surfaced. According to Venture Capitalist Shaun Maguire, Hunter Biden owes his family over$ 300,000 in back rent from a Venice, California property that was rented between 2019 and 2020.
The pardon’s effects on the reported bill on social media platform X were openly questioned by Maguire, a companion at Sequoia. What happens to the$ 300k+ in back pay that Hunter Biden owes my family between 2019 and 2020? Nowadays, is that pardoned? Owing Joe”, Maguire posted.
The federal acts Hunter Biden committed between January 1, 2014, and December 1, 2024 are covered by the national pardon. These include a rifle case and tax-related fees. The forgive does not handle legal issues like unpaid rent.
Maguire described his interactions with Hunter Biden as a landlord. ” Hunter was our landlord in Venice, CA. Didn’t paid fee for over a month. Tried to pay w/ arts made from his own stool. Absolute s – bag”, he wrote. He claimed Hunter Biden” changed the locks and used secret service to enforce” and that the monthly rent was$ 25,000. We had no access to the property”. When asked if the Bidens were considering evacuation, Maguire responded that they were “kind of a frightening home to go after.”
Not unlike Hunter Biden’s primary lawsuit for paid book, this is not the first. According to reports from the Daily Mail last year, he allegedly owed Sweetgreen CEO Jonathan Neman$ 80, 000 in returning fee for a different Venice home.
Responding to the accusations against Hunter, tech billionaire Elon Musk commented on X, saying,” Truth is stranger ( and funnier ) than fiction”.
