Kash Patel, who was announced on Saturday as President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI ), reportedly was targeted by Iranian hackers.
According to two options, Patel was just informed by the FBI that he had been the target of an Egyptian phishing activity. According to one of the options, it is believed that Egyptian hackers had allegedly hacked into some of the Trump nominee’s communications.
CNN reported that while Alex Pfeiffer, a Trump change director, did not directly target the statement of the Egyptian hackers activity, Pfeiffer provided a statement to the outlet, emphasizing Patel’s commitment to the president-elect’s second-term agenda.
As the FBI Director, Pfeiffer stated that” Kash Patel was a key component of the first Trump administration’s efforts against the criminal Egyptian program” and that he will carry out President Trump’s guidelines to protect the country from opponents.
Trump announced in a speech on Truth Social on Saturday that Patel may take over for his second term as FBI Director.
” I am pleased to declare that Kashyap ‘ Kash ‘ Patel may serve as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation”, Trump wrote. ” Kash is a brilliant lawyer, inspector, and ‘ America First ‘ warrior who has spent his career exposing fraud, defending Justice, and protecting the American People”.

Trump claimed that during his first management, Patel served as the deputy director of national intelligence, the chairman of national security, and the top counterterrorism official at the National Security Council.
In addition to rumors that Iran attempted to hack Patel’s account during its malware operation, CNN reported that several members of the president-elect’s family have been targeted by international hackers in the last few months.
According to CNN, the FBI recently notified Todd Blanche, a Trump lawyer and the president-elect’s deputy attorney general candidate, that Chinese thieves had tapped his cellphone. According to CNN, Lindsey Halligan, a different Trump lawyer, was originally targeted by Iranian thieves earlier this year. Additionally, Donald Trump Jr. asserted that the FBI had earlier warned him that he was one of Iran’s” best goals.”
Around a hundred of Trump’s cupboard nominees and officials were likewise targeted next month with clawing and bomb threats, according to Fox News. The president-elect’s change group described the challenges as “violent, unAmerican risks to their life and those who live with them”.
